SPRING to WINTER CHALLENGE-OPEN-UPDATE 11/10/09

I find it's easiest to lose weight from Spring to Fall.  Anyone interested in trying a challenge to see how much we can lose by the end of September? We'll post our weights at least every Sunday and see how we are doing each week.  Post your starting weight...we're starting now at the beginning of April.  Sunday night I'll post the weights I have.  Please join, it should be fun and a long enough time (6 months) for us to see great results through the Spring, Summer, and Fall.  :)

Ok, here is the list so far of starting weight.   You can email me or post here your weight each Sunday/Monday and I will then each week list the weight lost and percentage lost if you would like.   I will also send this by email to you as well.  If you don't see your name or an abbreviation, email me.  Looking forward to the challenge and any inspiring ideas each week you have send my way or post .  If you don't want to post your weight, then just email me your pounds lost.  Here is the updated list and we'll start Sunday, April 12 and 13 to see if we have lost any pounds.  Enjoy.  :)

Hows everyone doing? I feel like I'm eating pretty well at the moment, but I'm only getting about 5 hours of exercise a week - considering I used to be a 20+ hours a week academy girl, I feel so lazy! 

Is anyone considering doing any challenges during this? I was going to try eating 7+ pieces of fruit and veg for a while, or maybe doing a water/exercise challenge? 

I think I've bit the dreaded plateau :( I think I'll miss this Monday's weigh in and just go for the next so I don't go all depresso.

If anything I'll gain weight I bet :(

I don't weigh myself of days when I won't like the results. I need to see steady loss to stay motivated.

You can send the posts to me by private email or post it here on Sunday or Monday.  I'm counting around 28 people so far and will post the starting weight tomorrow.  If you haven't made me your friend please do so since that way I can send an email to everyone (I think the site limits the number of emails you can send to nonfriends).  The way you send emails is you click on my profile or where you see my post and hit send message and then write in the email.  If you want to post your progress on this thread, that is fine as well and I'll send a general post on the thread each week with our current weight and progress (how much it is from our starting weight--if it goes down.  :)0

145 is my total goal weight. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get there, but I'm going to try!! I mean, its only 1.5 lbs a week at most and right now, I've been averaging a little over 2lbs/week. But I know thats going to change the closer I get to my goal!

My long term goal weight is 120 as I'm really short, but I don't really care about the number as long as I feel I am healthy and looking pretty good.

Hi I will join, though I am really busy lately and certainly not dieting. But I will be this summer. I am currently about 108-110 and want to be 100 (what I was on my wedding day on 9/6/08!). Even more than the number is the level of fitness. I am flabby and untoned right now and feel down on myself. I know I could be 20 lbs heavier and look better than I do if I can just build muscle. That is my main goal. Inches and fitness rather than pounds.
