SPRING to WINTER CHALLENGE-OPEN-UPDATE 11/10/09

I find it's easiest to lose weight from Spring to Fall.  Anyone interested in trying a challenge to see how much we can lose by the end of September? We'll post our weights at least every Sunday and see how we are doing each week.  Post your starting weight...we're starting now at the beginning of April.  Sunday night I'll post the weights I have.  Please join, it should be fun and a long enough time (6 months) for us to see great results through the Spring, Summer, and Fall.  :)

Ok, here is the list so far of starting weight.   You can email me or post here your weight each Sunday/Monday and I will then each week list the weight lost and percentage lost if you would like.   I will also send this by email to you as well.  If you don't see your name or an abbreviation, email me.  Looking forward to the challenge and any inspiring ideas each week you have send my way or post .  If you don't want to post your weight, then just email me your pounds lost.  Here is the updated list and we'll start Sunday, April 12 and 13 to see if we have lost any pounds.  Enjoy.  :)

thanks augette, I know I need to focus on the positive - it's just hard sometimes.  I feel like I'm trying and trying and getting nowhere.  I won't give up though - glad I've got my fellow CCrs supporting me. ; )

Yay!!! 1.7lbs down, what a progress! Over two months with little ups and downs around the same weight, and when I finally accepted that 155 might be the goal weight for me, a big surprise like today. That's all it takes? Acceptance? There you go people the holy grail = acceptance. Who knew?

Everyone is doing great!  Quite a few inspiring stories...in fact everyone's story is inspiring!  Keep up the great work and yes we have to have a good October since the holiday season will be here soon.  :)

So you doing ok Buddy I just read you hit a plateau  ya know I hate those things they are so darn discouraging, You know what to do to get off of it right if not ket n=me know and in 3 or 5 days you will be back on track. Isn't that nice for a friend to help another friend,LOLOL!!! I am proud of you/ You have came so far and to think you and i are buttin head to head, wonder which one

of us is going to reach our goal first. LOLOLOLOLOL!!!

Darn, I fell off the wagon yesterday and had all sorts of fatty foods that didn't even taste that good.

Thanks everyone for encouraging me to not give up - CCrs rock! 

I was upset a couple weeks ago because my weight had started creeping up. I was exercising and eating well so I couldn't understand what was happening. It actually went up to 143.8 one day!  I thought I was headed right back up to where I started and I had no way to stop itCry.

Well, it must have been water retention because it seems to have balanced out now.  I've been drinking lots of water and staying away from salt and sugar - I'm trying to be more conscientious about this now.  I hope it helps *crosses fingers*

I'm feeling much better now - my weight is slowly starting to creep down again.  The past few months have challenged my motivation and patience but things seem to be back on track now So here's this morning's results:
