Why are some women so delusional? Seriously?

Do they think the initial water rentention is muscle mass?

It seems like lately I've seen a ton of threads about how fast women think their thighs get "bulky"...  I just don't get it.

So it's become quite obvious that visible muscles on women are an abomination and we should not be allowed in the weights room.  Bulkiness is only one of the external proofs of the societal trend toward declining femininity.  I'm surprised the radio talk show hosts haven't organized protests and picketed the gyms.

I've changed my mind about lifting weights, I think I'll become a long lean model instead.

After all, we all know how weak those swimmers are. Laughing

After all, we all know that swimmers don't gain muscle. Laughing

mm yes, swimming won't build muscle and lifting is NOT cardio.  best stick with the elliptical on the "fat burn" setting Yell

And make sure you put on at least 2 layers of sweats and when you're done sit in the sauna for about an hour because sweating burns sooooo many calories.

Really!! Water is so fattening.  I had 1 sixteen ounce bottle and when I weighed myself I'd gained a WHOLE pound!!! 

Well you are lucky karozel, I drank a sixteen ounce bottle of water and I gained TWO POUNDS!!! Must have been from carrying those groceries up to my apartment.... I TOLD my boyfriend to take the one with the 4 cans of soup! I wonder how many pounds that was?! Man I just build muscle SO FAST.

And don't forget to have a couple of lemon-maple-cayenne high colonics each day to detoxify.  It will totally clean all the fat out of your body in a week!  But only if you eat no bananas except for Wednesdays when you eat ONLY bananas.  If you mess that up it won't work at all and your metabolism will implode and make you retain fat longer.

Ya - if you want to lift weights, only lift 1 can at a time - 4 cans is way too much.

Just for all you NROLFWs out there, I did squats today and actually saw beautiful defined muscle in my thighs for the first time ever. (I'm sure it's been building for awhile, but just now saw it.)

I was in love with myself :)

I suggest you burn that book before you start lookin like a man! A big bulky manly man!!!

I'm so close to being a man after finishing that book it is wild.

Oh I know, I read it and then I even DID a couple of the exercises.... my muscles DOUBLED in size in roughly 35  minutes. I had to lay in bed and try not to move for 3 months to get them to atrophy...
