We are going to weigh in on Friday Mornings- Pee, lose the clothes and jump on the scale! We are tired of fluctuating up and down- back and forth- and we are in it for good. Hubby not always supportive, need an outside source of motivation from someone who is taking the same steps as you, we are your ladies!!! This Friday is the first weigh in!

Sharyn! I'm right there with you, I was down and up, and I know I maintained a deficit so I'm not too worried right now. My friend keeps yelling at me and says you are retaining water, don't worry, you look like you weight 160- HA I WISH!

Sunday Am weight- 209.6
Sunday Exercise- 15 minuets on recumbant stationary bike, 7 minutes on elliptical (interupted by phone call from grandparent to go pick up the oldest from church)
I hope to get back on the elliptical tonight and do some more reading!
Good luck this week ladies- we are eating at my parents house monday night and the in-laws on wednesday- Say a few food prayers for me so I know my limits!

weighed in at 220.4. Didn't exercise today - this will be my day off this week. Been busy braiding my daughter's hair today. Have a great week everyone!
P.S. - Morgan, don't let the dinners scare you
. i know it's hard when eating with relatives because everyone is interested in what/how much everyone else is eating. My advice, get a LITTLE bit of everything- that way you won't overindulge too much on one thing and you won't have to worry about anyone asking you several times to "try" this or "try" that or ask if you are on a diet.

Well, this morning I was back to 228.8. Which is good, cuz yesterday I did not feel well at all and ate some junk. But I hope that I am not getting this cold that feels like it is coming on cuz it makes it hard to exercise...but I have my clothes to go right to the gym after work. If anything I will do 20 minutes on the elliptical and from there see how I feel. Maybe I can sweat this thing out :)

Good Morning everyone. I don't weigh myself on weekends and I'm horrible about exercise. I only managed one day at the gym last week. But hey, that's one more than I have in a long time, haha. Anyway, got on the scale this morning and am at 204.0. Yippee! Slow and steady wins the race, right.
Great job Chipdog!! Keep up the good work...add a day of excercise each week and you will be great...and it does not mean that you have to go to the gym to excercise either.

So, My AM weight was
208.2 Wahoo!
Last night I got back on the elliptical for 20 minutes- felt great- did my reading for school and it went by really quickly.
Today was a day from hell, my exercise took place at work, running back and forth from shop to shop delivering parts, and lifting heavy brake rotors all day long- I also did a few jumping jacks, swept the floors, and ran up and down the stairs a few times to try and get in a little bit of a work out.
I ate really well 900 calories up until dinner time, BUT, we went to my mom's for dinner so I hope I didn't blow it, it was a really healthy dinner- sweet potatoes green beans and a vegetarian dish thing that had mushrooms spinach cheese and tofu in it- SO, with my small glass of red wine i think I did okay.
We will see tomorrow morning- keep it up ladies- This is really helping me, I hope it is helping you too!

I weighed in at 221.8, not particulary happy about that because it jumped up from 220.4 on yesterday. Anyway, felt like crap today - must be coming down with something. No real exercise today, but still maintained a calorie deficit.
sounds like you did ok with the dinner Morgan. I think it is important to still be able to enjoy meals with family. It sounds like you did not overeat, which is always the goal.

We weigh in Friday mornings- we are doing a weekly challenge right now to push us all to get in as much work out time as we can; posting our AM weight with our days exercise either late at night or the following morning- whichever is more convientent
I am getting sick tooo! I can't stand it. I am up coughing and coughing and its killing me, then I woke up this am feeling very nauseated.BLAH. but
Tuesday AM weight 207.2
Tuesday Am exercise @ 5am! 15 minutes bike, 13 minutes elliptical, then a nice hot shower. I hope I kick this cold soon.

Hey All,
Sorry I am just logging now. I had a physical this morning and once I got to work it was non-stop. But this morning after showering and even eating an english muffin with peanut butter I was down to 224.6. Not sure what happened, but I hope it stays that way.
Last night I had a pretty good cardio workout and this morning the hubby and I walked the pug before the physical. Plus I will be hitting the gym again tonight. So, lets cross our fingers and hope the weight keeps going down.

I weighed in at the the same as yesterday- 221.8. I still felt crappy today, but dragged myself to the gym to do circuit training for 45 minutes and burned 644 calories.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR FRIDAYS WEIGH IN!!! YEAH!
My little secret this week- packing my lunch the night before
eating every 2 HOURS, NO MATTER WHAT.
Once before I tried this, eating every 2 hours, and the weight just came off.
So, we are trying again, I feel that baby weight is stubborn though, that damned mamma pouch sucks! Anyways
I eat breakfast, bring fruit, granola bars, have a HUGE sandwich at lunch- its loaded with veggies, mmm mmm, its about 900 calories before dinner, then a sensible dinner, maybe a little treat and I am right around 1400-1600 calories giving me a good deficit and room to exercise and a little extra! Well, we'll see what tomorrows scale says!

Great Job Morgan! You sound like you are really focused.
This morning I weighed in at 223.6. I sure hope I am eating correctly cuz I know that if I starve myself this loss will eventually stop and maybe even reverse. But I believe I am tacking my calories correctly and even feel I enter more than I should. BUt I have been working hard at the gym and just protioning things. My concern is I need to add weights, but my shoulders are shot. Because I have been an athlete all my life and almost every sport consisted of using my shoulders especially my right one they are slowly getting worse. I went through PT earlier this year and had an MRI...things got a little better until I started back up with bowling and volleyball. So, I guess I could use some ideas on weight training that would not kill the upper body. I definitely need to work the chest area-perk those babies up :) and get rid of that flabby underarm. I just am scared I will injure myself more. ANY THOUGHTS AND IDEAS are appreciated!
