Any 1st time mom's trying to lose weight...

I am a first time mother trying to lose weight.  Before I had my daughter losing and maintaining my weight was so easy. I worked out and ate healthy.  Now, I am always tired and I have a hard time kicking the bad habits I adopted during pregnancy, like OVER EATING!  I get up every morning and run 3 miles or so with my friend, it’s the eating I need to control. My daughter is 8months old and I have been trying to lose weight since she was two months.  I have been on Calorie Count Plus (4 times), Weight Watchers and I joined LA Weight Lose with no luck.  It all comes down to getting accustom to the life changing experience and having self control. My goal is to lose a minimum 15, 20lbs by her 1st b-day in November.  Anyone want to join me.Kiss

so I'm down 4 pounds since August.  big woo!  back at work now and hoping the regime will kick my butt into gear.  things are shifting though b/c i'm back in some size 8's although tight; and i really don't care if i'm wearing my maternity jeans b/c they are just too darn comfy and are the pants i wore in my first trimester-  so I think that's pretty good.

tummy's not flat and have makor thunder thighs.  but back, arms, face, neck, chin all look OK.  I guess we all have our problem spots.

I did my urban rebounder today at home after i put the baby to bed.  I've resolved that I'll have to work out at home and that's just how it is.  no time now for gym unless I can go during lunch-  maybe I'll do that two days a week and once on the weekend and then workout at home the remaining days.

how's everyone?

julia is getting so big already.  i just love her!

Give it some time Vanessa, it's only been a few months for you! Most people say it takes a year to get back into shape the way you were pre-baby.  For me, I think it'll be two years.
