Stability ball workout?

How do you log a stability ball workout?

I was wondering about sitting on a stability ball instead of a chair some articles say that it helps build your core. Does anyone do this and does it help?
Someone else had that question earlier and the suggestion was to use 'pilates' since they tend to work the same muscle groups. That's what I've been doing. There's a thread somewhere on CC asking 'the powers that be' to add a stability ball workout to the list so I added my request to that as well. It would be nice to have!
