I've finished Stage 4 and am now entering Stage 5 - which is clearly Stage 3 all over again with less reps.  Has anyone done Stage 5 with only 2 sets?  I remember the Stage 3 workouts getting crazy long and me losing motivation to do them because of that.  When I look at the exercises, I don't remember having issues with anything in particular - just the length.

Strangely enough, I'm looking forward to doing the body weight matrix again - even if it does completely wipe me out.

Wow, it's been a month since I posted and I still haven't started Stage 5.  Motivate me?  Please?  It's those darn Workout Bs that I remember hating in Stage 3.  But I'm finished all my marking and once the grades are entered, I'll have no excuses left.  I can get through this stage then get to some fun new stages.  Right?  (*So* tempted to skip Stage 5 and just go straight to Stage 6, but I really shouldn't do that.  Right?)

susie - come on!!!  You can do this - EVEN if you have to do 3 sets instead of 4!!  You will be proud once you finish and don't forget the evil wonderful BWM!

You can do it!  It's only a few weeks and then you get to move on to something completely new! 

Of course, listen to the hpyocrite here, LOL.  I skipped the last 2 workouts of Stage 5 and went right to Stage 7.  It's SOOOOOOOO different!   Course, Stage 6 is optional so I don't feel too guilty for skipping it. 

Susie, you can do it! Join me, I still have 2 more workouts left. Octo is being quiet, so it feels like I'm the only one in this stage. Do it for me, keep me company :))) Workout A is fun, BWM rocks! C'mon!

I will try to start it tomorrow.  Correction.  I will start it tomorrow.  But there is NO WAY I'm doing 4 sets!  :-)

Hi Maha, you're not alone in Stage 5! After losing motivation for a couple of weeks at the beginning of April, I have found the love again!
I finally started Stage 5 last Sunday and since then I've been on track, so I did 1A, 1B and 2A last week; 2B this past Sunday, and I plan to do 3A tonight (after Biggest Loser - lol).
No, no, Maha, BWM does NOT rock! There is still too much of me to squat jump!

It feels good to be on the program again, although I'll be taking another little break next week. My husband and I are heading down to Florida for a wedding and family reunion.  
susiecue, if you get started now, we'll be in about the same place when I get back. C'mon, you can do it!

I did my last workout A on Wednesday, and it didn't go very well. I didn't eat  enough that day, was very low on carbs, and a full hour of BodyAttack right before lifting didn't improve my glycogen stores. I've never felt so weak during a workout before. And I was on a verge of tears all the time - weird, eh? Also got my worst time on BWM. 

Today is supposed to be the last workout B, but I'm having some motivation issues. Kick me? Anyone?

Maha - kick - kick - kick! You can do it!!!   Seriously, your LAST workout in the stage - don't give up now!  Sounds like you will need a week off after that!

Thanks Yoga, but I'm afraid my body decided for me. I ended up going home after lunch and taking a migraine pill. It knocks me out completely! I just woke up, still shaky and disoriented. No gym for me tonight... unless a miracle happens. But I WILL do it tomorrow. It's now a matter of personal pride! :)

Sorry about your migraine...  good for you in making it happen tomorrow!  It is totally fine to take a day or two off - ESPECIALLY considering how HARD you work every other day!

Thanks for your support ladies! I just came back from my last workout in stage 5!  Feels sooo good!

 

FINALLY finished stage 4 after a long hiatus with the last two workouts remaining. Will be starting stage 5 tomorrow! Yippee!

First workout of Stage 5 today. I can't believe I thought I was going to do 30 minutes of cardio after 3 BWMs... hahahahahah

You did 3 BWM?????  YIKES!  2 was more than enough for me!

THREE? Oh boy....

OH CRAP. For some reason I had it in my head that I had to do 3 since stage 3 was 2. I just checked the book. I was wrong Yell

Well...at least I can be proud that I did 3, and I will NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. I will also not confess that to my friend, who bravely struggled through 3 with me.

Ok so I'm back tonight on Stage 5. I'm just going to start off where I left at, which is half way through. The RFFL was fun, got through 2 weeks, then my stupid back/rib cage started on me again. Just have to find my log & exercises, I'm doing our favourite one Workout B, yay, hopefully I'll find it a little more exciting since I've been away from it. Highly doubtful but you never know.

after a week and a half i lost maybe 4lbs, and some clothes were fitting looser.  it was loads of fun as long as people in the gym stayed out of my way. i would get the same sort of buzz i do when i do hiit.

but since my little back/chest pain i started to stuff myself with food again, ugh. was very bad. i kind of lost my way but im refocusing again. i might do it again after i finish new rules, but i can't wait to start stage 6.
