The stand up dance Crunches, Good when you are dancing.

Ok Girls, I have to give you the new dance move that has an added crunch in them.. You really feel them... You stand up. Open your legs up a little. GO into a squat, and you crunch. You do 20 of them take a few move dance moves, and then go back into the standing crunch. When you do them. Make sure your hands are right at your ears or at your cheek bones when you are doing them.. elbows out and down into that squat then you crunch. That hits that upper part of your gut like nothing, and the squat helps pull from the bottom of the gut too.. Try them, and tell me what you think. They also have a side crunch too.. What you do is the squat stand and rock crunch to the side. Doing the same amount. But you are doing. crunch to the center, then a crunch to the right then the left and back to the center.. Do 40 of them.. YOU will get a good burn with them.. That is called the total abs work out.

Saroful, Did you give them a try. I know they hurt. They had us doing them in class. I told you 40.. Well try just 60 of the total and see if you can get up out of bed the next morning. LOL

Marcibeaucoup.. Did you try them too? Or are you just joking on Saroful.

They hurt. But you are not on the floor trying to do them. If i would have learn them before i got all of these machines and tools i seen on T.V. I would have never used them.

Tighten your abs up and do that sqaut and twist your wasit being really tight with your movements and see how you like it. They call that the burn. You are doing a twist really fast. And you are doing it like double time. When you think you are getting a break for a rest. The trainer yells again. And you go for another 20 and then another 20. Before you know it. You done did 60 of them

They hurt like hell.

When i got done doing them I told erica to help me sit down in the car. she said no you help me.  I am driving. I helped her into the car, and off to home we went.

No more junk food fast food stops for erica. That is why we had a day of hell with the trainer. She said, We are going to go for that gut like never before. We are going to do this every time we work out. I hope you love it. One girl said, let me sit down. I was like. NO don't. We will have to do more. LOL.. She said down. AND when she got up. We did another 20 of the center crunch only..

That woman made me mad. But hey. The abs are feeling great. That burn..

Amber, The Question is can you feel them. I told my cousin to do a few of them and she said, OH Bleep. That hurts.. She said ,but it's a feel good hurt. She said , I don't feel the ones i do on the floor. She said, I am going to have to do a few of these every day. LOL

I love the class i am in. The trainer comes up with new stuff all the time.
oof, i did like 2.  I have a soldier at home and I asked him to run me through PT stuff for my abs.  Now I hate the Army even more :)  I can't hardly pull myself up to my desk, who knew I used my belly for everything?

I'm totally adding this to my "dancing at home by myself with teh dog in the other room and the music up too loud and the lights off" routine, though.
You felt it with the first 2.. LOL.. They are really good are they. LOL.
well, i bet if i hadn't been sore from all my crunches and twists and situps the night before i could have done more :)
LOL... Well i do them, and they work like nothing else. Love handles.. Going away.. But i was doing them before i learn them at the dance class. They added the squat to them at the gym. I was just doing them standing.. And i was not putting my hands up by my ears or cheek bones. Having the hands up to your ears give you added weight they said. I don't know what they do. But i do feel them.. That is what matters.
Silly question, do you stay in the squat and do all 20 or do you stand up after each one, go back down, etc...? Either way, holy cow!
You can hold the squat or give your thighs a break. What i do is when i do the set for all the abs. The sides and the center. I do a squat and then i pop back up and go back down into it. When you get the movements of it. You can go really fast. But i will start off slow with the movement. The burn part of it is when you do the whole abs the sides and the center and you are doing it fast. They really do work.

If you got an ab roller. YOU will want to put that in the trash. You are really working your abs and thighs with that work out. If you really take a look at it.

But the hold one is so much better. Because you will start to feel the burn in the thights. All the way down to the lower seat of your butt.
