Stanley's weight loss journey

*nnnnrrreeeeooooow!* I so hungry. This 4th day of my diet. Mommy give me only a little bit of food 2 time a day. I don't want be skinny...I just wanna eat yummy foods! But mommy and daddy say I could die from cat diseases if I don't get into shape. My roommate Herman weighs half of my weight...he so annoying and always sit on mommy's lap when I want to so I slap him.

Mommy not even give me Christmas treats. I go into the sink and lick the dirty dishes when they no looking.  

Awww :( I feel really sorry for you Stanley! I hate hearing my kitty meow with hunger and have to feel her straight away. Luckily though she is a good kitty and never overeats and thus is skinny anyway. You are doing the right thing though, you need to be healthy! Don't go sneaking off eating things behind your mummy and daddy's backs though at other people's houses!

Stanley, remember that running away really fast when somebody finds out about the dish licking burns lots of calories!

You can do it Stanley!! Your mommy loves you verrrrrrry much and that's why she's putting you through this misery :)

I recommend a pinch of catnip, it helps when you're super hungry and then you can run around in crazy circles and burn some extra calories. 

I play with catnip sok mommi made me. You say to EET catnip?!

Today I go outside lookin for peepl'es trash I can brake into. I hope no one catch me.  

aww...stanley!!  maybe once you get it figured out you can help my kitty ... he is 11 and has put on a few lately too!  *****HUGZZZZ****

d'awww stanley! You're so adorable! Imagine how much more beautiful and sleek you'll be when you weight what herman weighs! And, you'll probably get to sit on Mom's lap more....mmm more lap time!

Stanley tell your mommy since you are on a lifestyle journey that you will only eat the most expensive of the cat foods.

Get up on her and look her right in the eyes and guilt her into buying you a new toy or two and maybe some healthy treats for being a good kitty.

Mommi try lots of toys with me but I only plays with red lazer and catnip sok. Okay, I tell her to buy 'spensive cat foods. I king of the apartmint compleks anywayz, I need be treat like a king! I a mountin lion, ackshully RRRAAAWWWR!

I never weigh 9 pound like Herman, he little, he grown up cat but look like baby cat. I a big boy. Wen mommi found me, I homeless and starving but I stil weighs 14 pound cos I big cat.  

I cry a lot to make mommi feel sorry fore me. It work before, that how i gots fat, but now i on stupid diet. Is i skinny yet?

No offense to Stanley the cat but this post is rediculous! Come on now there are struggling people on here trying to lose weight this just takes up space for the real 'humans' on here battling their way through the fat.

The nonsense on here sometimes makes me 'gasp' sigh'.

I think it is cute- and it is called "comic relief"..... Laughter burns calories....

I just want to say that Stanley the cat has been the funniest post I've read all day (sorry Standley), and keep up the great work!

And if you had read another post by stanley's human-mom, you would know that he actually is on a diet.  He is trying to get healthier (obviously not by choice, but still).  For those of us that are cat-lovers, its a good thing.  My furbaby Sassy is on a diet too...although she seems to be gaining instead of losing.

Its still a process, and a struggle for the human parent.  Listening to stanley meow is probably very difficult, and this allows her to deal with it without giving in to Stanley.
