What is your Starbucks drink
The other thread got me thinking about this.. The reason I am curious is I always get the same thing.... Grande coffee with a shot of sugar free carmel syrup and room for milk.... (Skim of course) So... What do you get?

I get the same as you only with SF Vanilla syrup.
Iced Venti Half-Sweet Black Tea Lemonade = refreshing!
I used to work at starbucks....hence the ridiculous drink:
Grande, half-sweet sugar-free cinamon dulce, non-fat, chai tea misto.
Tastes like a chai latte BUT it's sugar-free, fat-free, about 1.50 cheaper and about 100 cals! The best of ALL worlds.
When I'm feeling indulgent I love vanilla latte, in all it's fatty, sugary, foamy glory.
Mmmm Starbucks, my old friend!
Since I started calorie counting I've decided to give up on Starbucks, Costa and other coffee chain drinks.
I used to get a decaf, grande, sugar free vanilla, skinny, wet latte or when it's sunny and warm out I'd get the same but iced. But alas, they aren't the healthiest of drinks and not only do I save on my calories but I save £2.50 every time I skip one. That's about £1,000 a year - craziness.
That said though....I do miss it!!
I have Starbucks about once a week -- classic chocolate mocha for me. Occassionally white chocolate mocha.
Actually, it's not Starbucks any more. Now it's Seattle's Best. But it's the same thing.
I have never been a coffee drinker, but this summer my husband got really into iced coffee, so when I go with him I will get an iced decaf americano with soymilk and splenda. It's really good, actually. Kind of like a coffee milkshake.
I don't go to starbucks, though, because the one and only time I did, they MADE IT WITH CAFFEINE and I got sooo sick. Jerks. If I had known while I was still in the store, I would have thrown it at them!!
Also to thermal, your drink sounds SO GOOD. Too bad I would never remember all of that and don't even know what any of it means. If I tried to order it they could hand me a cup of tire-water and I wouldn't know the difference.
medium black coffee. And that is exactly how I order it. i refuse to use their fake names for small, medium, and large.
Tall caramel frappuccino.

I am SOOOO trying this some time! If for no other reason then just to say all that! ha ha!
I treat myself every so often with a Tall Skinny Vanilla Latte with No Whip... it's makes you feel like your cheating, but not too bad in the calories (130)!
SO Not the same... Seattle's Best is WAY WAY better!
unsweetened grande double shot on ice with skim
With the large number of independent, unique coffee shops we have in the Seattle area, I try not to go to Starbucks - coffee from independent shops is always much better.
When I do go, I get the Tazo Berryblossom White tea, hot or iced, very refreshing. Occasionally an Iced Carmel Macchiato.
My 2 favorite coffee shops nearby serve Stumptown Coffee (roasted in Portland), and Kona Coffee. I usually get vanilla or carmel lattes. Or tea :-)
By the way, Seattle's Best is owned by Starbucks. I think the roast they use is the Seattle's Best roast though.
Well I used to get either the iced chai tea in the summer, or in the winter I would get one of their holiday concoctions such as gingerbread, pumpkin or whatever. I also like the white choco mocha.
However when I really thought about spending $4-5 and like a billion calories per day on a DRINK, I stopped going. My bank account and waist line are much happier. :)

Tall nonfat latte, extra double shot. Own cup.
Edit: ann - it's because there aren't that many proper coffee shops in North America (generalisation, but mostly true) and they have specialty items like frappuccinos.
Cheers pOnda, and you know I've never even heard of a frappuccinos?
I really must get out more ![]()
Mine is a tall Hot Chocolate without creme...not that this would help..it's still 330cals...
but I only have it once every 4 month so it's alright ^^
Peets all the way. Medium brewed coffee, room for cream.
