Have you ever calculated how much you spend on starbucks drinks and cakes every month?

I spend $100 last month:( I was not aware of that.

A LOT, I'm sure. But I don't spend actual money- just the dining points that come with my meal plan at college. I rarely ever spend real money at sbux.

Interestingly enough, I just read this book that said if you stop spending that extra $5 per day (or about 3.33 in your case) and put it in an interest bearing account over the course of your lifetime you could be a millionaire!  ...just a thought...

no but they come with the required meal plan. i don't get to pick the amount, and if i don't spend them they don't carry over to the next semester.

I realized that in one week I had bought about $5 per day...$25, just a bit over the top.  Making my own coffee is so much cheaper and healthier, now I spend about $20 a month on Starbucks or less.

I heard that they were adjusting their prices but I haven't been there in a while so I wonder how much they cost these days. I've always found them to be a dangerous place for both wallet and waist line.

$0. Their regular coffee is crap, I am not really in to foo foo coffee, and their pastries are not much better. I prefer Peets coffee, and it's free at my work, along with tea.

I only treat myself to a coffee and a cake very rarely....  maybe a weekend shopping trip might finish with a trip to a cafe, but I can't afford to do it the rest of the time.   Or rather... I could afford to do it but I'd rather spend the money on something else!
