Starbucks ideas :D

im work there and i am increadibly addicted so i thought id share some summery ideas that arent too outrageous in calories but are more interesting then plain coffee or tea

an iced venti suger free vanilla  or unsweetened green  or black tea lemonade is only 50 calories,(a grande is 40 and a tall is tweanty i believe, sounds strange but its amazing, one of my favourites)

a tall coffee light frappuchino is 110 calories which doesnt chaneg with suger free hazelnut, vanilla, caramel or cinnamon dolce,

an iced tall vanilla non fat latte is 120 cals, with suger free vanilla its only 60!

an iced tall non fat caramel macchiato is 140 or with suger free vanilla its only 1oo!

a tangerine frappuchino blend is only 140 for the tall size.

a tall regular coffee frappuchino is only 190 cals.

i like soy instead of non fat for about 10 more cals then non fat and much creamier and it doesnt make me bloated.

iced all ice americanos are good with suger free syrups too..hope this maybe helps someone out :D

if anyones interested i have lots of hot drink ideas too

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I love Starbucks coffee YUM. I'm saving all these ideas.

Please post the hot drink ideas too!!!

My favorite of your tips is the tall non fat caramel macchiato.. I always get iced carmel macchiatos but feel guilty because of all the calories.

I've never heard of green and black tea lemonade.

Yay, thanks! :D

Im bookmarking this lol
I LOVE tazo chai lattes with soy milk + no water! I'm sure it's so bad...but oh so gooood lol
I took in my application :)

and got the non-fat sugar free iced vanilla latte, its good if you like coffee flavour!

Im going to try the caramel macchiato next time.
Oh my god! Thank you so much! You are AHMAZING!!! This is genius.
im glad this was helpful to some of you :D im just sitting here wide awake at 1:00 am so im going to add a few more suggestions that i love.

a tall non fat suger free cinnamon dolce has only 90 cals, if you dont like espresso maybe try a steamed milk, i love those too

a tall non fat caramel macchiato is 140 cals, with suger free vanilla 100 cals. i like it better over ice personally, but hot is good too. its even better with suger free caramel. divine actually haha.

if you like tea, maybe try a tea misto which is tea steeped in half water, half milk and you can get flavor. "london fogs" are the most popular, which is with vanilla or suger free vanilla, chai tea bags are really good with suger free caramel or vanilla. a tall size im putting at around 60 cals.

a tall, non fat, no whip mocha is only 170 cals, beware the white mocha though, even with skim milk its 270 cals.

try a black or red tea latte with non fat but instead of the "classic syrup" used to sweeten it try suger free vanilla. i like the black tea latte like that but havent tried the red. this would be 70 cals.

a tall non fat hot chocolate is 190 calories, try it with suger free vanilla instead of the normal. to save  20 calories.

a tall non fat flavered steam milk is 150 calories, or try it with suger free syrups for 90 calories.

again, i love soy so more oftan i get that than non fat. i do love my iced venti extra caramel caramel macciatos but i only have those once in a while..not exactly low cal haha but delish..which counts for something...*cough 360 cals cough*

a tall non fat cafe misto which is half coffee half milk is 60 calories and yummy with some suger free syrup.

if you like just straight coffe try the iced coffee with either no sweetner or suger free.

alright, im all done for  now. :D have a day everyone.

Any suggestions for the java chip frappuccino? XD
Yummmm. I go to starbucks about everyday, they all know me and my order...I pretty sure they should just give it to me for free since I'm such a loyal customer. Haha :)

OMG thank you for the TIPS! very helpful! =)
What I have learned from Starbucks:

Any Frappuccino can be made with light mix that is creme or coffee, whichever you prefer, saving MANY calories - think hundreds! Skip the whip, it adds close to 90-110 depending on the size.

My lastest personal favorite: Tall Light Caffe Vanilla with an shot of espresso blended in. 110 without the espresso but a shot of that is only like 10 or so calories according to CC --- so grand total IS: 120. If I have the calories to spare, I get whip.

Total Starbucks addict.

i just checked the starbucks page and it said that a venti iced tea black lemonade (tazo) is 190 cals! where did you get your information? i worked at starbucks for a year a while back. i don't know how much of their recipes change over time.
meredith-

The good news:  if you're putting a extra shot in your frappuccino, you're saving even more calories.  The liquid of the shot takes the place of some of the liquid cream frappuccino base, which has more calories than the espresso.  So, it's probably 10-20 calories, but hey, a calorie is a calorie.

The bad news: The whipped cream adds about 100 caloris and 6 grams of fat.  Pretty much doubling the calories in your drink.  Infact, leaving the whipped cream off is about 89% of what makes your "light" frappuccino light.

Oh, but-- you could also try using sugar-free vanilla as the vanilla instead of the vanilla bean powder that is standard recipe.  The sugar-free syrup will have no calories, whereas the powder is pretty much straight sugar.
