Starbucks Light Frappuccinos

Do the light frappuccinos automatically come with the sugar-free syrup?  A grande caramel light frappuccino is 167 calories, but I always specify sugar-free syrup (and no caramel drizzle) with mine.  Am I saving any calories or do they come with sugar-free standard? (No Starbucks employee has ever said that they already come like this.)

No the nutritionals are with regular syrup, but they don't include the drizzle. If you use sugar free syrup, the calories would be the same as a coffee frappuccino light.

PS. I love light frappuccinos :)

I was told by a Starbucks employee that the lite frappucinos come to the store pre-mixed, they just blend with ice to serve, so you can't really adjust anything further (or, more annoyingly, can't get a chai frap in the light version because there's no such mix). The mix is made with part sugar, part sweetener, to cut back on the sugar calories and with skim milk. Anyway that's what I was told.

Substituting sugar free syrup saves 20 calories. A light frappucino is made with one pump of syrup. Each pump of regular syrup (according to Starbucks nutritional info) is 20 calories. The SF syrup has 0 calories. I have worked in a Starbucks and know this to be the case.

I save my calories up for the double tall 4 pump mocha. (like, 300)

If I'm paying 4 bucks for coffee, by god its gonna be GOOD!

 It's true. I e-mailed Starbucks to find out what was in the light fraps.

do the stats on the website for these light fraps include the caramel drizzle or not?

 No, it doesn't. The drizzle doesn't come in sugar-free either but they probably only use a tsp anyway.
