Starbucks nutrition info

Almost every day when I come to Calorie-Count to enter what I've been eating, I see the list of "most recent searches" on the home page. I really like that list because it makes me think about other options-- oatmeal for breakfast, etc... Almost EVERY DAY I see that someone is searching for Starbucks information, so I thought I would share what I "discovered."

I love starbucks and was wondering about calories, etc... so I went to the web site (http://www.starbucks.com/retail/nutrition_inf o.asp) and found that you can select all of the components of your drink, click "go" and the nutrition of your specific drink is displayed. If you plan ahead, you can actually get a pretty good drink that is filling and not all that bad for you.

Yeah, I love starbucks and I used their website to decide how to change my drink to make it healthier. Not a big change, but I now get my chais w/ non-fat instead of whole milk. Also, their website has convinced me to stay away from their pastries!
On their beverage nutrition information page, they also have a pdf of 20 drinks under 200 calories that has lots of ideas!
If you decide to splurge and go for a pastry, go for a reduced fat one, they have many fewer calories although they're still pretty bad.  Coffee Bean has a cinnamon twist that is only 270 calories.
