Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte... what's in it?

Quote  |  Reply
Can someone who works at Starbucks tell me what you put in a pumpkin spice latte (besides milk & espresso)?

I was thinking it was just a pumpkin flavoured syrup + pumpkin spices but a tall no-whip, soy latte would cost 210 calories, compared to a tall soy vanilla latte at 160 calories (which I know that's just syrup, soy milk & espresso)... Just wondering if maybe more than one syrup is added to the pumpkin spice latte?

I usually order my lattes half-sweet so it cuts down on some sugar calories but I'd like to know what's in the pumpkin spice latte that I could modify to make it less than 210 cals for a drink. Thanks!

Honestly, if you can take your coffees black I would ask for a black coffee with the syrup in it. Most of the time, it tastes just as good.

I usually get black coffee with a little milk & sugar or I make my own tea. Lattes are a once-a-week snack.

that's the nutrional info.  they also have it for all their other drinks so u can figure it our for urself.  u can modify for the kind of milk, whipped cream or not...

hope this helps!

I already checked the nutritional info but that's just the info for the standard way to make the latte. I'd like to know what actually goes in it so I can ask for half syrup or half of whatever ingredients.

then i think u have to ask to see the bottle...

I could ask next time I got to Starbucks but I know there's a few people on here who work there so I thought someone might pop in with a speedy answer!

I should just quit my job and work at Starbucks.

The syrup used in the Pumpkin Spice Latte is more like white mocha than the clear syrups such as vanilla. This is why there are more calories because it is a more dense syrup. So a tall, soy, no whip, Pumpkin Spice Latte has 3 pumps of syrup, 1 shot of espresso, soy milk and then the cinnamon/nutmeg/spice sprinkle blend to top it off. :)

I would suggest getting less pumps of pumpkin syrup and maybe sub one of those pumps for vanilla. mmmm I love the fall :)

Yes! That's what I was looking for... thanks :)

Crack, I'm pretty sure.

You made my night, lol.

Thanks for the info, jvs15, I was wondering the same thing.  I'm definitely trying one of these.
