Hey everyone, I know I need to lose alot more than that, but my body seem to adjust to anything that I do. The doctors tell me if you lose 1lb a week I should be happy. So I'm gonna try to be more realistic. Anyway let's do weighins on Sundays. And get started!

No weight loss last week, I turtled.  So far todate I have loss 3.6 pounds.

GW is 265.  I will be pleased if I loose 10 lbs making me 259.6 but I know my body and I doubt that is feasible.  I am working very hard though.

Ok, so I'm down to 123 lbs, from 126 lbs (??) but I've been cheating ALOT. I feel so bad. I could've lost more but I have been eating over 1200 cal EVERY day and it's terrible. So I'm just maintaining. And I keep fluctuating, and I don't trust the scales in the dorm bathroom anyway...

 

But well done to everyone so far!! Keep going and don't give up!!

Joining a new gym today with lots of neat stuff: rock climing, racquetball, squash, and water slides. There are also lots of early morning classes. I hope, really, really hope, that I can start getting up at 5:30am to go to the 6am classses. I'm going to try.

Hey I'd say that's not that bad. At least I'm losing! I've been slacking on exercise a bunch :/ ahhhhhhhhhhhh I need to focus! I must be under 160 by next week!

.2 to weight loss goal.  Since I loose slowly and regain. My goal was only to loose 7 pounds, but if this challenge I loose more then that is simply wonderful.

That sounds awesome (except for the early morning part).  What kind of gym has rock climbing and water slides?  I need to find one like it!  Keep it up!  If anyone wants a challenge, try crossfit.  My classes can be seen at hardassfitness.com.  Coach Kimo is a great encourager and he even gave me a free, short training for the Great Aloha Run next month.

Down to 142.8, about 1 pound down!  Not bad since last week I had 2 bad eating days, so bad, I didn't even bother to count calories.  Or care.  Picked myself up and kept going the rest of the week, though.   Hang in there everyone!

Total Lost: 6.5 lbs; only 0.5 loss this week but I did just finish week 1 of 2 weeks of being on the road so I am happy that it was not a gain!!

I won't be weighing in next week as I'm off on holiday and whilst I will make an effort not to "overdo" it, I will still enjoy myself! (enjoy not having scales to weigh myself!!) Wink. However this weeks stats:

Sorry, people, now most of you do not know me because I haven't been logging in for the longest time. I just weighed myself yesterday. From 117 lbs around two or three weeks ago, I'm down to 112 lbs! During that time I've found a few buddies to exercise with. We did a variety of activities like jog, hiphop abs (hips, buns, and thighs), and yoga. I've also done thirty minutes of Pilates (10-minute solutions: abs, buns & thighs, and flexibility; so that's 10 minutes each) the other day. Now my abs hurt especially my lower abdomen.

Yay, for losing 5 lbs! I'm starting to overeat again in the weekends, though. Tsk tsk tsk.

So i gained this week.  BUt i was a bad girl so... Back to the diet. Gym 2night after work!

hmmmm.... so it looks like i've gained a kilo! interesting... that despite a weekend of skiing... (but also of eating a TON :-) )

Anyways - no biggie. it's just one Sunday out of many! so i'll be watching what i eat this week more closely than usual :-)

wow, didn't think I could do it.  It's been rough.  Just dropping one pound in a week is a HUGE accomplisment for me, so six pounds in a month is GARGANTUAN.  I'm a little concerned that I won't be able to maintain the workout schedule once my work calendar changes later this year and that all the weight will come back.   I also eat a spinach salad and two pieces of fruit every day and my entrees are mostly vegetables w/ a little meat thrown in.   But to lose weight, I've been having protein shakes for dinner every night and that's not something I care to continue indefinitely.  I guess I'll have to deal with it when I get there.

Sorry for the late update!! Ok, my cheating has caught up with me... I'm bacl to where I was 2 weeks ago (126 lbs - which I totally don't get at all) so I really need to try hard this week. I'm still down 4 lbs, but I put on three.


It's so hard at college. Especially in a place where they cook all your meals for you and you have NO idea how to count the calories... and it's not like we have a menu. It's one meal and you either like it or you don't. Salad is my best friend... but then again, some of the cooks like to put calorie packed dressings on the salad so I have to have tiny portions of everything. I ould cook for myself but I do not have the time, resources, or money. I pay for my cafeteria meals and it sucks that I have no choice in what I eat.


It's not too bad... the food is delicious and I'm grateful for what they do... I just needed to rant.

 

Well done to all of you who are losing - and for those who are struggling like me,just keep going!! We can do it!!

Sorry for not weighing in last week, was extremely bloated and retaining water. I was put on hormone balancers to help with everything and it has.

I have been working out an average of 3 days a week for 45 to 60 min, and walking another 2 days for an hour+.

SW: 189

W1: 187.6

W3: 191.6

W4: 194 (not posted last week, mostly due to pretzels)

CW: 188.1

0.9lbs so far. I'm happy with that.

I have been sticking to 1550 calories a day for the past 8 days and today i am going to have a little more like 2000 (boyfriend took me out to dinner), still under my burn meter of 2340 (yay light exerise ;)).
