Hi, I started CC on the 18th. I haven't lost anything yet but my goal is 25lbs. I am 5'10" and currently 180lbs, I'd like to be around 155lbs before June. Would anyone like to join my group so we can help each other stay motivated???

Karey ~ my secret is called "deprivation & pain" LOL

I went shopping today because I haven't bought any clothes in a long time.  I still don't want to buy too much because I'm not done shrinking yet lol.   Anyway, I got a pair of denim trousers at Ann Taylor Loft - now keeping in mind they run large - I got into a size 4.  The amazing thing is that last year I couldn't fit into their size 8.  Went to American Eagle and got jeans size 6.  I'm stoked!

Renee, that's such an awesome and rewarding feeling when you go shopping and get into a size you couldn't before... I love that.  Way to go on the size 4 and the size 6!  I'm hoping I can eventually get into a 4, but I think they're just out of reach right now.... not sure if I'll get to them or not, but I'm still happy being a 6.  :D

Hope you all had a good week. I have decided to stop weighing in every tues and instead weigh in once a month. I am now a week off being six months pregnant so it is inevitable that the weight will start to go on. I am hoping it will just be baby and water weight as i intend to add in an extra day of exercise and some weight training.
I was feeling a bit disappointed when i weighed in today to find a 3lb gain, and then realised how silly i was being!! Pregnant women have to gain weight, and i want to be able to enjoy having my bump and i think at the moment my weekly weigh is making me feel very negative about my impending weight gain!! And really i am doing really well as i still weigh less than march when i got pregnant. Sorry if i am rambling!!
I still intend to post every tues, but will focus on postive things like my exercise and fruit and veg intake for example. I am going to embrace being healthy without focusing on weight.
I hope this all makes sense. Hopefully when i finally get to post in Jan after my lil girl is born i will wow you all with my new weight!!!

Clare~ You're doing great!  I think it's wise to not weigh every week because like you, I would be depressed to see the pounds keep coming on.  Like you said, you're pregnant, so it's inevitable that you're going to weigh more.  Sounds like you're doing a good job of exercising and being healthy.  I'm sure you're going to wow us when you weigh after giving birth.  :D

Shea~ We miss you!  Are you going to come back and join us??  (I noticed you update your profile pic and saw another post by you)   :D

The weight just does not want to come off anymore.  Bought a barbell set this weekend, so I'm hoping to start doing some weight training to add to my routine.

Ooopps!  I almost forgot that today was weigh-in day!  I'm all messed up from the holiday and keep thinking today is Monday!

clare ~ I agree whole-heartedly!  Don't weigh!  You're preggers and don't need to worry about your weight.  Just eat good foods and exercise to be healthy.  You don't need to stress over weight gain especially when it's for a good reason, right?

karey ~ awwww, the dreaded plateau?  It's happened to us all.  But you're still losing, even if it's just a little, so that's good, right?

Hi ladies, Tuesday again!!

Well I have decided to post my weight today as i have reached six months. I have decided to weigh in at 7,8,and then 9mths and then back to normal after giving birth.

So pre pregnancy weight was 181

weight at six months pregnant is 173!!

Must be doing something right! My arms are and legs are looking super toned!!

I am eating well about 80% of the time and last week did 3 20min cardio sessions and one 4hr, and two 3hr walks with my little boy in the stroller over some pretty hilly ground. So from now on i'll just post eating and training habits instead of weight. I am going to get my fiance to take some pics of me this week which i'll add to my gallery!

Clare~   That's wonderful news!  Good for you!!!  You're going to be hot when you give birth!  Woot, woot!  :D

Yay!!!  I'm excited!  I broke my nasty little plateau!  I increased my calories quite a bit and focused more on being healty.  Started weight lifting too.  :)

Great news from both of you!  clare - I can't wait to see your updated pics!

karey - Good for you!  I'm so glad you made a change and it worked for you.  I wanted to increase my food too, but my trainer says "no".  I guess I'll just wait a little longer and see what happens.

Renee~  That 1/2 pound is probably just water weight.  It'll go away.  :)

Went shopping today and got some new skinny jeans - size four!!  I'm so excited!  I never thought I'd be able to get into a size 4.  Yay!  :D

That's awesome Karey!  I've been buying 4s too!  It's so hard to grasp isn't it?  When I grab them off the rack or ask a clerk for a size 4 I feel like they are looking at me like "yeah right lady", but they really DO fit!  You have made a phenomenal change in your life, you should be proud!  Your before and after pics are proof of how far you've come and what you've accomplished.

Ladies, i have just been looking at both your pics, you have done so well, you look amazing! How tall are you both????

I'm asking that as i know if i slimmed down to the 130's i would look really ill, and the 150's is perfect for me but still sounds a lil heavy! I guess body shape has a lot to do with it!

Renee~ I LOVE being a 4!  It feels great to go into a store and look through the smaller clothes and not feel self-conscious pulling them off the rack.  :D

Clare~ Thanks!  I've come a long way from that chunky girl in my old pics.  I don't plan on ever going back to that either!  I'm just shy of 5'7".  I agree, body shape and build does have a lot to do with it.  How tall are you?

I'm 5ft 6, so you are actually taller than me. I do have quite a large athletic frame though. I guess i shouldn't become too hung up on numbers, and accept the 150's is right for me!!

clare ~ I am 5'4".

karey ~ I Am self-conscious pulling them off the rack!  I think I'm in denial!  I went to White House Black Market yesterday and tried to get the opinion of the sales girls on which size to buy in a top I liked, small or X-small.  They said the x-small looked best, huh?  I'm having trouble relating to this girl who is smaller - I still go into the store and pull the larger sizes.

Clare~  You should go with what feels comfortable for you and your body... as long as you're in a healthy range and have a healthy BMI.  I would think that around 150 would be in the upper range of that for someone 5'6".  The number isn't that big of a deal anyways.  I may actually go up once i start gaining some more muscle.

Renee~ X-small!?!  Good for you!  I was wondering who actually could fit into those sizes, lol.  Well, I guess now I know, it's you!  :D  I still have trouble buying a size small...  I stand there and wonder if I should get a medium, or a small, lol.

Shea~  Hope you decide to come back to join us!  :D

Karey, i think thats exactly it....i have always done some kind of strength work and have a muscular frame. Which is probably why under the 150's looks awful on me!!

136 again... feeling bloated and I haven't been able to go to the bathroom yet, so I really think I may be at my goal.  Just not official yet.  I'll probably weigh again tomorrow and see.  Just want to reach that 135!  :)

Well no weigh in for me, and not my best week really. Had some real tiredness problems this week so we ate some convenience foods where normally i cook from scratch, and i haven't exercised as much.

Will try harder this week!! On the plus side i am looking good from behind naked!!!! I checked out my butt and legs and was pleased with what i saw. Just have a huge bump on the front!!

karey ~ oh, I'm sure you are at your goal!  Let us know tomorrow what happens!  So now you're there what next?

clare ~ I'm so proud of you for hanging in there and exercising and eating well through the pregnancy!  You're gonna be one hot mama!

I've had a rough weekend.  Started off with Friday night - went out to eat with the family AND had ice cream for dessert.  Then Saturday went to a friends 40th b-day party and had WAY too much alcohol!  Hung over all day Sunday and didn't eat much.  Anyway I've been feeling lazy and haven't exercised in 4 days.  Got a great workout in this morning though...must get back on track...

Clare~  Alright, way to go on the looking great from behind!  That's definitely a plus!  I'm very insecure about my behind... I don't think I have much of one, kind of flat.  Not blessed with much of a booty, lol.  I lost most of my boobs, too *sigh*.

Renee~  Hey, you lost 1/2 a pound!  Yay!  Sounds like you're doing a good job getting back on track.  Tomorrow is my b-day, so we're going out to dinner at Texas de Brazil (Brazilian steakhouse) in Orlando and I am so looking forward to dessert.  I don't so much care about all the steaks and stuff (my husband loves this place), but am really looking forward to having a nice big slice of carrot cake for dessert!  I LOVE carrot cake and they have awesome carrot cake.  Yummy!  So, hopefully I lose that pound tomorrow, or I may be packing on another one or two.  It'd be nice to lose it so then I can celebrate reaching my goal too.
