If you started this about a week ago, I'd like to start a weight loss group
Hi, I started CC on the 18th. I haven't lost anything yet but my goal is 25lbs. I am 5'10" and currently 180lbs, I'd like to be around 155lbs before June. Would anyone like to join my group so we can help each other stay motivated???

Still no weigh in for me, i will post weight next week when i reach seven months!
Lots of exercise for me i've had quite a good week. I managed to increase the intensity on my bike and elliptical and managed to do four 20min workouts and also lots of walking. I managed to get on a pair of trousers yesterday that i wore to a wedding in feb. I did up the button and zip and i think thats pretty impressive for 27 weeks pregnant!! So i guess apart from this huge bump i'm currently sporting, my actual body fat must be going in the right direction!!!
Hope my weight isn't too scary next week!!!!
Shea~ Way to go! That is pretty impressive, considering it's your totm... you can probably expect an even bigger drop for next week once the water weight is gone. Yay! :)
Clare~ Great job on the workouts and the pants - pretty impressive. ;)
I need all the help I can get. I am 5'6" and weigh 205. :-( I have ponly been on here since the 25th. I have never done a calorie count before and unsure how this all works and I need support to get this weight off.
shea ~ great job on the 1 lb. loss! You are headed in the right direction. And that IS pretty impressive being totm!
clare ~ It's so hard to believe you are 27 weeks already! Boy time sure does fly! I'm still so amazed you have the motivation to exercise while pregnant.
karey ~ well it looks like you've mastered maintenance! Has it been rough? Oh, and thanks for the compliments on the new pics. Those "before" pics were taken by my trainer in March. I couldn't believe it when she e-mailed them to me.
Well, I'm leaving tomorrow night for an adventure so I won't be able to check in with you girls till next week. I will be participating in the Breast Cancer 3-day! I will be walking 60 miles over the course of 3 days. Think about me this weekend while I'm in pain and sleeping in a tent. Anyway, the pain will be worth it since we've raised a lot of money for a great cause!

renee~ I wouldn't say I've mastered maintenance yet... too early to tell yet! So far I've gotten it right this week, but who knows what'll happen next week. I have no idea what I'm doing, lol. You'd think it'd be easy, but I don't think it's easy at all. Not yet at least. Wow, 60 miles!? That's a lot of walking! Hope you have some really good shoes. I'll think of you, and have a great time on your adventure! :)

Hey ladies, i have finally reached 28 weeks so only 12 more weeks until my baby girl arrives!!! The end is in sight!!!
I weighed in this morning.
Weight at start of pregnancy - 182lbs
Last weigh in at 24 weeks - 174lbs
Weight at 28weeks - 178lbs
I am actually quite pleased about this, thats only a lb a week, which seems about right and i am still less than my start weight which feels like quite an achievement!!! I have increased the intensity of my workout a little too, to compensate for the sweet tooth i have developed during this pregnancy. My dream would be to only be back at 182lbs at 40weeks, but not too sure how realistic this will be.

This last week has been rough, a lot of high stress things going on with my family. So, unfortunately I didn't make much progress. I did however, get some new running/walking (for now) shoes that are so much more comfy than my old ones. Since I've been walking so much at night I need them because I've developed some painful plantar fasciitis in my left foot.
Coffee- Congrats on your progress! Don't push yourself too hard while working out, you are doing great.
Here are my stats for this week...this is so annoying because yesterday I was down half a pound to 177.5, but this morning I was right back up to 178. It's okay though, I know it's the stress....

Hi girls I'm back from my 60 mile walk! It was so inspirational, emotional, and very very tiring. But I made it! Unfortunately, I didn't stay on my diet and paid the price. You'd think all that walking would burn calories, but noooooo! Anyway, last week I weighed in at 122 and today I'm 123.5. (I was 128 Monday a.m. UGHHH)
clare ~ keep up the great work! You may go above 182 because you'll probably gain more weight toward the end when she starts growing more rapidly, but that's ok it'll all come back off in no time!
shea ~ that's great that you managed to maintain your weight even through the stress. I'm sure your evening walks have helped with that. Keep it up and don't get discouraged, you are doing great!

Renee- Yes that is me, thanks. It's my first tattoo that I got last year for my 26th Bday...I'd been wanting one forever and had finally decided to just bite the bullet and do it. I'd like to get another but still not sure where or what of, it took me years to figure out exactly what I wanted the first time. Better to be safe than sorry with something permanent like that, ya know? ![]()

Me? I've a bad last few days. I had my high school reunion Sat. night which is what I was really working toward. Now that it's over I've been eating like crazy. I must reign myself in! Had a better day yesterday and today. Last week I was 123.5 and today I'm 123. I know that's a loss but I'm feeling bloated and not as good as I could. I was holding 121 for a while, must get back there!
Hi ladies,
A good week for me!! We had some really good luck. My fiance's parents had told us they were giving us £6000 towards our wedding and my mum £2000 so we were lucky enough to have the whole wedding paid for. We went to collect the cheque from them at the weekend and his parents had added another four thousand pounds to it!! So now our honeymoon will be paid for and we'll have savings to start our married life with!!
On the fitness front i have been quite good. I managed 2 2hour walks and 3 20min cardio sessions and my eating has been pretty healthy. I am still weighing in at less (only just!!) than i weighed before. I saw my midwife last week and even though i haven't gained a pound my baby is bigger than average as i measure large for my dates. My midwife believes women with a diet rich in fruit and vegetables produce bigger babies than those who gain loads of weight eating junk food. She's happy for me to work out right up until the birth if i can manage it and is predicting an easier labour as its my third and i am fit!! I hope this is right as when she mentioned this baby reaching ten pounds, my eyes watered i can tell you. My last one was nearly 9lb!!
I will have another weigh in in two weeks when i reach 32wks. I can't believe i have only got ten weeks til she arrives!!

A 10 lb. baby? My friend had one of those and she'll never let us all forget it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for another 9 lb'er! ha,ha I can't even imagine...
We're probably going to book to go to mexico for a week. We haven't had a holiday in three years so it will be such a treat!!

Hi Clare! I don't think I'm going to "weigh-in" anymore. I'm pretty happy with where I'm at now and just trying to maintain. I've been eating like crazy though. It's ttom and I can't control my eating frenzy! Hopefully I can get on track soon. We're going on a mini-vacation for 4 days this weekend to Miami, FL, so I'm sure I'll be eating a lot then too. So maybe I'll get back on track by, oh..., next Wed? lol
