If you started this about a week ago, I'd like to start a weight loss group
Hi, I started CC on the 18th. I haven't lost anything yet but my goal is 25lbs. I am 5'10" and currently 180lbs, I'd like to be around 155lbs before June. Would anyone like to join my group so we can help each other stay motivated???

Karey - Good to hear about your cockatiel! I love them! I used to have two myself. It's always a relief when a sick pet gets better. She was probably just givin yah a love bite.. hehe a little irked from not feeling good! BTW, Thanks! Thats my Pismo! The picture is from 12/05. He was only 3 months old. He isn't much bigger than that now, but his ears fell and they are all floppy. That's my "firstborn" son. He was born a few days after Hurricane Katrina ( We used to live in Biloxi, MS) so we decided he would do better in CA. At least thats how I got DH to buy him for me hehe. Our very own hurricane baby!

Tomorrow's not looking good for me either! I weighed this morning and haven't lost a thing! Next week I'll be PMS'ing so the future doesn't look bright for next week either.

I am so sick and tired of playing with the same few pounds and right now i feel so close to giving up. I am sticking to my calories six days a week and working out. I dont count on sundays because we eat at Valentino's parents for lunch and being italian food is very important to them. So i usually have a pasta and a meat course with two or three glasses of wine but i only have that one big meal so i cant be going much over my calories. Maybe i should change to weigh on sundays so i'm not always panicking about it showing on a tues. I dont wanna end up packing it all in but i'm starting to feel a little desperate!!!

Well it's as I thought it would be. The scale hasn't moved for me at all this week. Clare - I share in your frustration. I stick to my calories everyday. I would say if anything maybe sometimes I don't eat enough but I feel good about what I am eating. I know that my exercise could use a boost but I am doing the best with what time I have. Right now I can only manage working out 4 days a week. Everytime I diet I get to where I am now and can't go below this weight! This is usually the point I give up, but not this time! I'm determined to get to 130 lbs. Don't give up either Clare - you've got all of us girls behind you for support. We're all in this together!
last week - 180.5 this week 177.5 three lbs lost. we can all do this! way to go Karey! I am DETERMINED to get to 145 by July 24th. We can do this!
I have decided to up my walking and add in some more weights to try and jump start myself again.
If you like, we can maybe play a game with working out/staying with in our counting limit/etc something to engage us in to kicking each others butts and losing ours!

Hang in there, clare and renee... you can do it! I'm sure we'll all have weeks like yours, we just need to stay positive and keep at it.
Way to go ophelia!! I'm jealous! I can never seem to lose more than 1-2lbs each week. I wish I could lose more at a time so my goal would be accomplished more quickly. :)
Hi! How is everyone's weekend going so far? I'm really enjoying mine so far... only got one day off this week and I have to work early tomorrow, so I'm just relaxing right now. Went to lunch (healthy sub) and shopping at the mall - hubby needed some new jeans because he's gotten so skinny... he looked like a gangster is his old jeans, they were way too baggy and loose. lol. I didn't get anything for me yet, but I was admiring the adorable "skinny" clothes I liked in American Eagle. I keep telling myself that as soon as I lose more weight I'm going to go back and buy all kinds of "cute" clothes. Can't wait!!! The weather is gorgeous today (sunny, windy and 80's) so we took a walk down by the marina today... so pretty! Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! :)

Not a bad weekend. Still waiting for my bloody period so have a lil bloating and tiredness, and if i am honest a bit of a sweet tooth. Have decided to try and increase my water intake and exercise levels as of monday. And after easter next weekend i am going to completely give up drinking until i reach my goal weight as i have been reading up and its slows your meatbolism by up to 73%!! Puts fat burning last on the list. I only drink one day a week (maybe two occasionally!) but i drink at my boyfriends parents with lunch on sundays and then kinda carry on, thru the evening. Thats gotta add up. My boyfriend is Italian so lunch with his parents is a huge carb fest, which i eat to be polite and then later on at his brothers they always give me cake. I am just going to have to be honest with them as its spoiling a good week sometimes. Then i can just knuckle down and sort this out!! I know i have been a whingey moaner girls......you'll all see a more positive me next wk i promise!!!!!

Boy Karey I can really relate to your shopping experience. I went shopping with my best friend about 3 weeks ago and I have vowed to not buy myself any new clothes until I lose some of this weight. I'm really looking forward to buying some "cute" clothes also for the spring. My husband decided to also do calorie count and of course has almost doubled my weight loss in half the time. I hate men for that!!! My weekend has been great so far. I look forward to them because I know I can really get some exercise in without the distraction of work, kids, etc. I met with my trainer yesterday and she really kicked my ass! I thought my arms and legs were going to fall out of their sockets! I told my trainer about my frustration of having not lost any weight for a week and a half and she says I need to increase my protein intake. I'll give it a try.
Clare- I think you are on the right track with your goals for yourself of cutting back on the drinks and politely backing down on some of the festivities on Sundays. Of course I went out last night with my good friend from high school and had more drinks in one night than I've had in the past few months! I got up 1 lb. down this morning and of course my husband burst my bubble by telling me I was just dehydrated! Damn!
I'm going to an Irish feast tonight iat my husband's cousin's house in honor of St. Patrick's Day. I'm not worried about overeating because I'm kind of picky and don't really like much of that food.

I was a bad girl yesterday... I broke down and went to Dairy Queen and had a medium chocolate kit-kat blizzard. It was soooo good!! My husband was really bad - he got a large! lol. I feel guilty for my indulgence, but I had such a stressful week and I've been craving ice cream for quite a long time. Just worried it's going to come back to bite me in the butt tomorrow when I weigh myself. I'll cross my fingers! :)
Well i am actually embarrassed to post today. I did consider dropping out!! I am so ashamed.....i actually gained a pound. So now i am more than my start weight! 183lbs!!
Still waiting for bloody period too......not pregnant!! Did check just to be sure. Means i am still struggling with that tired feeling i get around a period, I havent worked out in more than a week.
Today is a clean slate. I promise i will have something more positive to post next weigh in. Hope you all got results this wk!!

I lost 4 lbs. this week!! I'm so happy... I don't feel like I lost that much, but I weighed myself three times this morning just to make sure it was right. Good luck everyone, and hang in there Clare, next week will be better. :)
