I am hoping with support I can lose about 35 lbs. It seems the older I get the harder it is to lose weight. Man, when I was younger I could drop weight like crazy any time I wanted to. Now that I'm 46 it seems like I gain weight just looking at food. I realize I'm not as active as I used to be when my children were home, but geez. I'm hoping there are other people out there in the same boat.
I hear sister! And this is my motto
Today is the start of a new day and a new me.
This is for ME!
I don't need alot of money or any fancy gadgets.
All I need is will and determination to succeed.
I need to give it my all...100%.
I take this journey very serious.
Failure is NOT an option.
I want ME back!
I WILL SUCCEED.
Be back in 90 Days.
(actually 86 days...I already started!
)
Good LUCK!
Hello neswanso. I am in the same boat as you are! I am 45, my girls are in college, and I have 35 pounds to lose. BUT, when I started this program I had 45 to lose!!! This really works. Granted, it has taken me 3 months to lose 10 pounds, but I am confident that the life changes I'm making are building a solid foundation for permanent weight loss. I, too, used to be able to drop weight really fast. And it is down right discouraging at times, when the pounds don't want to budge. But BUDGE THEY WILL if we don't give up. Anyway, what is the alternative??? Staying overweight and (likely) becoming more overweight OR making healthy changes now, and putting an end to the 'feeling heavier and heavier' cycle. We can do this!! Glad you've joined in.
