Good AM all you CC ppl. Well Some of you may know me Basically I started in 2007 feb and did GREAT the first few months lost like 35lbs. Then was laid off for a while and slowly went back to old ways not fully but close... So I am trying AGAIN to get back on track luckily I didnt gain everything back I started this at 318lb and when I deceided a few days ago to take this serious again i was at 302lb as of today i am at 299lb YEAH!! Its so hard to stay on track especially when you have kids and i have 4 small ones, anyone who has kids knows trying to be 100% healthy with them around is almost impossible (at least for me) hopefully with gods help, my CC ppl, and my determination i will make it this time. I hate feeling short of breath, and tired all the time, and so out of shape... 300lbs on a 5'3 body is ALOT and im too damn FABULOUS to be like that..lmao  Alot of my older CC support ppl are gone so im looking for some new ones..... they say i should weigh 131lb for my height to be honest i LOVED being thick so Id be happy to be a 180lb i use to look good at that size, lol i guess well see when i get there! WHOS WITH ME???

I know how hard it can be to have little ones- while I only have 2, I work pretty much 3 jobs and maintain everything at the house & take care of the boys.  It's very hard to find time to focus on yourself...

But it's really scary to think that without making the time for yourself now - you may not have tomorrow to look forward to.  Think of all the fun your children would have if you were able to run and play and do all those things they have the energy for that we as parents don't... God to be young again...

But regardless we can do it!  We will do it!  Most importantly welcome back!  That's the first step!

You deserve everything you put into yourself!  You are FABULOUS!!! Remember that!
Thanks!!!

hang in there this time!  it's alot easier if you just start with a few changes  :D  don't try to change ALL your eating habits at once.  AND don't forbid ANY of your favorite foods.  just eat them in moderation.  OR you'll end up binging!!!

as far as exercise, ANYTHING is better than nothing  :D  don't try to do too much ALL at once.

good luck!  you CAN do it this time!  if i can do this, anyone can!!!  LOL  i had a candy bar for breakfast...  and i lost 63 pounds since 9/4

I just joined calorie count and i have been losing weight since Sept. of 2007.  I started at  227lbs 5'3 and now i am down to 192lbs.  I eat probably half of what i use to and do at least 30 min. of cardio a day and workout with a trainer twice a week.  I lost almost 50lbs about 2yrs ago and like you i gained most of it back.  I did the trainers diet (a lot of protein and limited carbs and fat) then and now i am just limiting myself and portion control. For instance i will eat a couple of teaspoons of ice cream and call it quits and that usually satisfy my sweet desire after dinner or maybe two of the small famos amos cookies.  I believe that it is a mind thing and i understand your temptations.  I have 3 children at home and it can be difficult to work in the exericse time and the food temptations.  Sometimes i eat about 5 of the kids fries instead of getting them myself.  I also allow myself Sundays to eat SOME of the things i want. I hope this helps i wouldn't mind talking with you from time to time.  It is good to have someone to vent to and bounce ideas at.
Welcome back. I know how you feel. I too have been here before. I had only lost 13lbs and gained it all back. I have been at this for 7 weeks and haven't lost anything. But I'm sticking with it. I'm figuring that eventually the odds have got to be in my favor. :)

Just remember, you have to say "no" more than "yes" for a while.

Good luck to you. I'm sure you will be great!

Hi and welcome back!!  I too am starting all over again.  I had lost around 30 pounds and I have managed to gain all but 5 pounds back due to bad choices around the holidays and taking steroids for my neck.  I am just finishing up Physical Therapy for my neck and am getting back to eating right and the gym.  I managed to stay on track for 9 months before I fell off the wagon...this time around there will be no falling off the wagon for me, I just remember to eat better and exercise.  Also,  I am proud to say that since this past Sunday the scale is already starting to drop...so far varying between 1-3 pounds but I will take whatever as long as it is going down.  So you can count me in with you, I have about 40 pounds to lose.  :-)
