starting recovery-detox diet-what have you tried?

Quote  |  Reply

ok so ive been trying to get to recovery the easiest way (meaning least amount of pain) possible and i was wondering if anyone has done detox diet (perhaps all liquid?) that worked to ease your digestive system into functioning and not hurting so badly from refeeding syndrom.

any thoughts?

You won't be able to get all of your nutrients, but if that's the 'safest' way for you, I'd say go for it - for NO longer than a couple (2-3) days. That's ONLY if you think you can get 2000-3000 calories worth of juice and what not. If you go all liquid, add a PROTEIN POWDER. If you decide to do this, make SURE you slowly add more and more food each day. You need those calories!

Look up the 28 Cellular Cleanse Diet.  It's cleanse that doesn't starve you while it works.  I've done it the last two years and will be doing it next month.  The book is by Scott Olgrhen.  It's also called the NACHO Diet (North American Clean the Heck Out)
