Hi, Maybe its all the bikini's at Target, or the ads, or the feeling that I made it to the New Year and maintained my diet so I can splurge... but this last month I have let myself go big time. (I am even sitting here with a bacardi Mojito) Swimsuit season is peeking around the corner, and I am running from it instead of meeting it head on I guess. Is anyone doing anything special to prepare? Or is there any mindset or mantra I can use to snap myself out of it? I am still counting calories but can't get myself to the gym or to actually reach my calorie goal. My waistbands are getting tight.
Do the motions--including getting to the gym, or exercising in the house (maybe stair climbing?), and writing down what you eat. Sometimes, it helps to go through the motions of doing it, and getting the motivation as you go. You might not be inspired now, but trying going through the motions of food management and exercise until you catch the spirit.
Seems to be one of the biggest posts in most forums. I feel the same. Money is tight with 2 infants. I'm on the road 2 days a week working. It's easy to just open up a candy bar and pop it in your mouth.
I packed gym clothes today and I figure even if I feel like crap, I am going to start making an effort to use my gym membership. Yeah, for the 1st time in almost a year. It's sad I've let so much money go down the drain, but I'm going to try and do 45 minutes 3 days a week. This means if I have to leave my husband with the kiddos for an hour I will. Time to get me back too!
What type of food should not be eaten?
