Hi guys -
I'm getting ready to start the Slim in 6 program this upcoming Monday and was wondering if anyone here has tried it? Wants to start? Wants to do it again?? :)
What is it? If you don't mind me asking. My work computer is slow or I would look it up.
It's a six-week workout series done by Debbie Siebers (sold by Beachbody --- the same people that do TurboJam and P90X). Looks promising and so many people have had awesome transformations with it.

Hey, how did the Slim in Six go?
I bought this about a year ago, but never found the motivation or time alone to do since I have a husband and two roommates. When I first started it I could barely keep up. But I could feel that it was working even when I did it at my own pace. And I could definitely feel it the next day. I just might start up here pretty soon. Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to look for it later.
It's funny that you mentioned slim n 6 because I'm starting it this evening. I bought the dvds a few years ago and pull it out to use whenever I feel like it. I usually get bored with doing it everyday, so this time I'm going to alternate it with cardio group classes at my gym. Here's my plan:
Sun-Yoga or Pilates
Mon-Slim n 6
Wed-Slim n 6
Friday-Slim n 6
I still feel exercising and watching your calories is the best plan. I've signed up with a personal trainer, hoping to learn about cardio and weights. Once I've learned the right technique I'm going to go it on my own.
I used to walk almost every day and could eat almost anything.
I have had this DVD series for a few years but this is definitely what I'm using to work out. I don't follow the program of 6 days a week for 6 weeks because for me I know this is not a routine I could keep up with, but I do try and use the DVD's 3-4 days a week. It is definitely helping, with dieting and exercising i have lost almost 6lbs in 2 weeks.
that's awesome nesha! keep up the good work.
i got an early jump and started last saturday -- and MAN! it is kicking my butt...in a good way! my thighs & abs are definitely feeling it.
hope it's going great for everyone who's doing it. keep me posted on how it's coming along for you!
I'm going to try to keep up the 6 week schedule of 6 days a week. So far...so good!
First of all, good luck skinnycowbelle. Once you get into Burn it Up you're going to need all the motivation you can get - trust me.
I did this program back in '04 and got great results, but it was just not the time in my life where I was motivated enough. There were a lot of factors, but now I am changing for the better. I lost the DVD's but I bought the whole program all over again because I thought it worked so well.
So far I am a week and a half in and I'm feeling great. To note I'm not using any of their other products - no diet pills because I can't really afford them, and the whey powder I have is something my boyfriend bought before I started.
