Starting a trend with eating healthy/exercising
So I have a friend that has been up and down with her weight for years now, did the Atkins and gained all her weight back + 15lbs.. She used Slim Fast and other diet pills and herbal remedies and has never put her heart into doing it right.. Now she has her gazelle, stretch bands and weights and often calls me for healthy recipes..
I have another friend who started going to the gym about a year ago who never ate properly during her gym stint and is now hard at the gym thing again plus eating right..
I started a trend amongst my group of friends, this is great!!!
This happen with anyone else??? It's the domino effect, get on the bandwagon..

my mom asked me yesterday what kind of work out she should be starting with.. and then called me today to say that she found her hand weights and is going to start using them.. :)
it's amazing how being healthy can be just as persuasive as being unhealthy is.. :) let's keep this going! :)

2 friends of mine both started going to the gym a few times a week!! they aren't even going to my gym either! i think its awesome! and 1 of the 2 started on a diet program with LA weightloss, I was like, wow!

Well I haven't started doing the gym thing yet. My dear sweet Dr has suggested I do the water arobics class and toning up. I have thought about it a lot but kept thinking I would start out walking but that hasn't happened yet either. I started 3 or 4 days ago putting my husband and I on a better path. After one day he called me a carb notzi LOL! I thought he did very well also for the first two days but he did confess that he had a hot dog for breakfast I didn't know about LOL! I guess he could of done worse I did his totals and he still only had 2,000 calories. I need to nudge him into nudging me on the exercising. :) It is hard to think about it when it is so hot outside. I hope your domino effect falls this way LOL!
two of my best friends are losing weight... so i jumped on the bandwagon with them... they have more to lose than I and they're my inspiration... just saw one of them recently (she lives in Boston and I in the NY area)... anyway, she's lost nearly 40 lbs and looks absolutely wonderful!
I did start a trend with my BF... told him that he doesn't have to deprive himself but just to pick healthier choices. You know, skip that slice of cheese on the burger, choose a grilled chicken instead of the burger, etc. - WELL, last night he did just that... had a grilled chicken w/bbq sauce instead of a quarter pounder w/cheese...

I started working out alone and then my wife decided to join me after about a month. After a few months and some visible results on myself, my friend also decided to hit the gym and started eating better as well. He is also starting to lose the gut!
It makes me proud knowing that my actions can inspire others to live healthier as well!

Well, my boyfriend has been walking with me evry day that I do (3-4 days a week) even though he doesn't need to! He works in landscaping and he doesn't need to lose any weight, he just does it because I need the motivation and he cannot be a minute without me!
