I've been eating the right amount of calories for about 2 months now...but that's coming off of a four? year journey of not eating NEARLY enough. So I guess my question is how long does it take your body to realize it is no longer in starvation mode? or when does it start to neutralize your metabolism?

Maybe this is a dumb question or way too far fetched, but I thought I would ask.

what was your caloric intake and what is it now?

Before I would say it was 900 calories at the most. On most days.

Now I am about 1500-2100. Depending on the day.

also before I was intensly working out..and now I just walk for MAYBE 30 minutes a day.  I'd say I have boosted my over all calories (between consuming and working out) by at least 1000 to 2000

I don't think there's any good answer to your question. It all depends on your body type and your metabolism. May or may not take longer than 4 months.
