How do I know when I'm out of starvation mode?
I used to eat like 300 calories a week day, and pig out on weekends, this went on for like 6 months.. I started eating 800 everyday around febuary.. and added another 100 every couple weeks, I was eating 2000 a month ago, and gained 2 pounds in one month, I kinda freaked (even though i know thats not much) and over the past 2 week I lost 3 pounds on 1500-2000 a day
But I really don't know if Im out of starvation mode yet? I've heard you shouldnt gain on 2000 calories, but they when I ate a few less wouldnt my weight have stayed the same?
Im really confused on how to tell how much to eat a day..
And what's a good rate to gain at?
sex: female age: 14 height: 5"3 first weight: 147 lowest weight: 98 gained to: 102 current weight: 99 goal weight: 110-115(what do you think about goal weight??)
And yes I am with a nutritionist and theripist..

Looks like you have been taking a very long journey. First let me say that your nutritionist, therapist and doctor are the only true answer. If your goal is 110 and that is your doctors’ goal you should go for it. You are eating 2000 calories a day I would stay with it until you get to your goal of 110. Health is the number one even at CC.

you freaked over gaining 1/2 pound a week? please see a therapist love, you haven't even reached your goal and you are freaking out over minute gains that should be occurring weekly not monthly. why would 2 pounds in a MONTH freak you out? how long are you trying to draw out this process?

Hey, be nice! I used to freak when my weight stayed the SAME from week to week! And recovering from distorted eating is terrible!
As far as what you're eating. I would say that you definately need to talk to your nutritionist because they an probably test for sure whether or not your body is still in starvation mode. Much love!

And yeah, I am seeing a thereipist and nutritionist weekly, it's just... I dunno, hard to know how much to trust people sometimes, even myself! :S
If your current weight is 99 and your goal is 110 or 115. Please keep trying to get to that goal your only 14 years old you have maybe 80+ years to go ahead. Get healthy if you have a problem with your doctors you have the right to get a second opinion. Personally it sounds like your doctors are doing ok.

That's such a good question! I was eatting 1200-1300 calories a day and lost about 1.5 lbs a week (I'm 5'5" 140lbs). It was a constant battle to lose 5lbs! I reached 135 and fell off the wagon and started eatting about 1800-2000 calories a day and gained it all back! Uggh!Than I realized the reason I failed is because my motivation was in the wrong place.
Everyone is different and try not to worry so much about the number on the scale...you just need to be healthy. Plus, you're under the supervision of a nutritionist and that's his or her job to worry about your weight. You're a thin girl! Just try to be healthy...you'll probably have no trouble staying thin. You have organs and tissues in your body to take care of...keep up the good work!
