'Starved' for Attention

Does anyone remember the show "Starved" on FX a couple years ago.  I don't know why, but I have been thinking about that show a lot lately.  It caught a lot of flack for having characters with eating disorders, but if nothing else I thought it raised awareness.

I don't have an eating disorder, so maybe my opinion doesn't count or something, but I just loved that show, and it went away too quick.

Just thought I'd see if anyone else remembered it.

i saw the show once or twice and i liked it alot. i thought it was funny when the guy was going around eating his " pizza shake"

but it sounds like something i could have benefited from watching..

I had never seen it...but I am watching it now on youtube and it is hilarious...I could see it offending people who had ED's...but as someone who did, it is sometimes good to laugh at a problem (if that makes sense without comming across as insensitive)

wholly crap! i have also been thinking about that show alot lately. i was starting to think i just imagined it. i wish it was back on the air...

i loved the binge-eating cop who would stop delivery guys for violations and then just eat all their food.

oh man, I didn't realize it was on Youtube. I read that last night, and watched the whole series while weight lifting. Glad I made that post.

I missed this show, but I've seen ads for an upcoming new show on Fox called "Do Not Disturb" which seems to involve a lot of jokes about a character having an eating disorder. Not sure if they're the type of thing that will offend or not.
