no question....yes u are.sorry but u will be seriously damaging your vital organs on that.
my question is this. Is this typical or just a once in a whiole thing? Once in a while, IMO, is not going to kill anyone. Everyday probably a different story.

lol guess i need to eat more later when im not full anymore...healthy of course
no, its once in a while...i mean, ive never really counted the calories i eat i just started today cuz i started dieting today. i thought i weighed 149...guess not....i weigh 155 =( i REALLY need to lose this weight (consuming the right calories of course), i've gained alot these past few months. I'm just stopping it.
My last diet was the south beach diet, it worked GREAT. i lost 5 pounds in a week and felt great and i ate less fattening foods than i ate today, im kinda confused =/

I wouldnt say you were starving yourself, but you would loose faster is you ate a little more.
I thought the same thing. For several weeks I was keeping my calories under 1000 and my weight was barely moving down. Maybe a half a pound to 1 pound a week.
This week, I have kept my calories at 1200-1400 except for 1 day that I only had 900 and I had a 5 pound loss.
If I havent had all my calories in by the end of the day, then I will drink a cup of milk and a slice of whole wheat bread with a little bit of peanut butter.

thanks melanie, i guess i'll do what you do eat a bit more and thats it =) thanks for the advice
this happens to me sometimes, too. you're not starving yourself if it's just a once-in-a-while thing. Try to get in more calories before you go to bed, but if not, no biggie. Tomorrow is another (higher-calorie) day.
ok, so i ate a slice of bread with a bit of peanut butter and some orange juice
my calories went up to 1,229 =)

sometimes I don't quite make it over 1000 calories, and am full. no big deal-the whole point in learning to have a healthier attitude towards food is to not obsess. every day can't be a perfect pie chart, so I don't sweat it. some days I'm hungrier than others, so I just let the occassional 'noeatum' day slide.
Don't think so, that's a bit dramatic ain't it?
