I don't understand it I have been stay about 1100 to about 800 cal a day my weight goes up and down a lb or two but this weekend we was going out of town so we ate on the go donuts and pizza and mcd's and I lost weight. What is up with that? At home I eat nothing and can't seem to move the scales.

I'm sure you'll hear this at least a couple more times, but you will not lose weight if you don't eat enough calories.  You need to make sure to stay ABOVE 1200.  Otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto every calorie it can, therefore making sure you DONT lose weight.

I'm sure you will find that upping your calories will help you with your goal.

Basically you aren't eating enough to lose weight safely.

Ignore the starvation mode comment. If you consistently ate 800 calories a day, you'd lose a ton of weight, and eventually you'd become sick from malnutrition.

It's not healthy so don't do it.

I won't start eating donuts and pizza from now on but consider that during the day, you may need to drink more water along with exercising.  Yes, those unwanted fat cells won't go away but will just shrink through dieting unless you burn them off.  800 calories a day is pretty low to maintain energy to function throughout the day.  Eat healthy and how many of those foods that you eat contain lots of fat.  After having a lot of family member die due to diet, the doctors suggested to them to keep fat grams around 15 per day.
Thanks everyone for your replys Its really helps knowning there are people out there that care. I think maybe that was the problem i wasn't getting enought cal. for what ever reason because today i have lost close to a lb again. So something is working. Thanks again. connie sue
