- Brown meat in large pot
- add 6 cloves garlic
- 2 large onions and saute
- add 4 cups water
- 2 cans beef broth
- boil medium 1 hour
- Watch liquid level
- add water as needed
- add potatoes
- add carrots
- and 3 cups water
- 2 cans beef broth
- simmer high from to 1 to 2 hours
- add 16 oz green beans, frozen
- 3 cups tomatoes, diced
- simmer medium 1 hour or more
- add cabbage
- simmer medium 1 hour
