Thanks for the information  :)
salome I missed you today.. :)

han that is so cool.. isnt there is a gadget that measures your step so you can see how many you take?
I'm going to try and start walking between 2 and 5 miles every day. Probably not all the way up to 5 miles because I walk a lot at work, but I'll try to get up there. Thanks for the information!
YAH its a pedometre, mine was free with my cereal XD but it works!!!
Don't people like just.. naturally walk about 10,000 steps a day? That sounds like a stupid question, but someone told me that the other day, so I didn't feel nearly as special.
By using google, I found that the average sedentary person walks from 1000 to 3000 steps a day.

The average person's stride is 2.5 feet.  So its just over 2000 steps to walk 1 mile.  10,000 steps would be about a 5 mile walk every day.

Not sure everyone like just walks 10,000 steps a day.

Google can be your friend =)
Oh and the link is http://www.shapeup.org/shape/steps.php Maybe they just changed it since the one given above didn't work :-)
