Who steps on the scale every day?
Right now I dont have one but I was thinking about getting one so I can weigh myself every morning.
Thoughts?

Yep I definitely weigh myself every day - too hard to keep track otherwise!!!
I weigh in everyday twice a day. But I only have 1 official weigh in day and thats Sunday. I can handle the fluctuations on the scale tho. I actually enjoy seeing what my weight does during the day. But some people can not handle that. If you are one that will get discouraged by seeing your weight go up one day or more than just stick to a once a week weigh in.
used to do this several times a day, but i got a little obsessed with it, so i've cut back. now that i'm on this site, i will be logging my weight daily, but i'll try to only do it once a day.
i try not to obsess too much over the numbers! (try)
I do too, but it might be better to weigh less often (say once a week), since sometimes sodium, pms, and other things can make it go up on any given day and I get stressed about it. On the flip side, though, if I do go a week, it is easier to slip into a "little bad food here, and a little there" kind of behavior and to actually not weigh at all. I think for everyone, the choice "to weigh or not to weigh" is personal. What does your doctor say? :)
I weigh myself daily, everyone alway's say's once a week but it would be so much worse stepping on the scale and seeing a raise then knowing that it has been going down but you must be retaining water or something on that weigh in day. But with that said you just kind of have to see what works best for you.
i weigh myself everyday-keeps my eyes on the prize.
I do! EVERYDAY! I hate it.
I used to weigh myself once a week or so but now I weigh in and log it daily, even if I gain, just to have a reference to look back on and when I look at 30 days before, I'm ALWAYS less now ... so it helps!
every few days...sometimes daily. helps me stay focused on my goals.
If I had one I would weigh myself every day. I also like seeing the fluctuations, it helps me freak out less if I'm at the doctors and it's higher than I'd like, but knowing the clothing/sodium/medications/time of the day and those factors help me to accurately subtract pounds so I know my real weight. My old roommate had a scale so I was able to figure it out. I wish I had one now, but they are so expensive!
i weigh myself everyday LOL several times a day... i'm trying to quit, but i can't!
Yes, I do it everyday. Pure torture. I have gone as long as two weeks without getting on it before and as long as I am doing all the right things that is really enouraging.
I guess seeing I still have a way to go to goal by getting on the scale is like a reminder that I better not slack off. And if it starts to go up that is a warning that I am not being good enough.
I'm a scale watcher!
I do it every morning after doing my *ahem* restroom rituals. I don't get bummed out when my weight fluctuates and it just keeps m e in line. It's actually pretty
motivating.
I do. its the only thing that gets me out of bed. I love seeing the number on the scale, even if it has fluctuated up a bit. Reminding myself every morning of how much I've accomplished so far from changing my lifestyle helps me start my day.
I weigh myself every day and log it on Calorie Count!
I have to say that I am one of those scale obsessed ppl...every day couple time a day. I like seeing where I am all day, but I only take the one after sleeping as the more accurate one. Its amazing how much your weight can fluctuate throughout the day for various reasons.
anyway good luck and happy losing in the new year!
Yeah, I weigh myself everyday. It helps me keep track of what I'm doing correctly, and when I'm not being so good it tells on me too.
why would i want to put myself to the agonizing see/saw effect of weight loss.
I look once a week input the number here and on the calender and my exercise journal. That just me. I also have the "TANITA" scale, it gives me my weight in pounds and ounces. The cal i need to maintain that weight and my fat %.
I don't know how accurate it is but it's close to my doc's scale. the scale does ask for age, gender, hight, and level of activity.
I bought it a Bed Bath and Beyond, but i have seen them at BJ's and Target Around $50.
Most times I do, but If I eat a really big meal the night before, I won't because the water weight drives me insane.
I step on that stupid scale every day, multiple times a day lol In the end it drives me crazy, bc of water weight etc...but I still cant help myself.
