This stinks, but is it normal?
So I'm down to about 153 lbs at about 5'11.7" tall and I still have a ton of fat around my belly. I REALLY hoped I'd have a clearly defined six pack or a flat stomach by now, but it looks like I'd have to be somewhere in the mid to low 140's to have a six pack.
Anyone with similar stats have a six pack? Anyone have insight?
If it helps, this year I did experience major weight loss. I went from about 275 lbs to 153ish in about 9 months and the bulk of the fat in my belly may well be loose skin and damaged tissue from the rapid weight loss.
Additionally, I can actually see six pack abs, but they're covered up by a veil of fat. I can actually shake the fat up and down really fast and see the six pack even more clearly.
Anyway, any insight would be appreciated.
Quit eating [simple] carbs and you'll lose the belly fat. That's a simplified answer, but nonetheless true.
hmm, i guess you men do have your problems. i can't offer you any solutions as i have the same with my hips. i think it just takes more time, especially since none of us are getting any younger
. i have one friend that it took another extra year of reaching her ideal body (except for her stomach area) before she saw significant results in her problem area. she's still not quite happy with it, but i've noticed.
im sure you still look good though, just concentrate on your new looks but keep working on it.
