Well don't worry your not alone!!  I have them mostly on my stomach (looks like road map) but a little on my arms and legs.  I had a C-section with my son and I remember the doctor saying not to worry the cut would be small and I'd still be able to show off my stomach.  Lets just say its been 5 years and my belly hasn't seen daylight since.

Ugh, I've got them. Everywhere.

They've faded, but now instead of being red they stand silvery white against my already pale skin. Just going to have to accept it.

Because of my growth spurts, plus going from 140 to 108 to 125 to 140, I have stretch marks everywhere. Inside of my thighs, knees, every part of my hips, my entire butt, and chest as well.

I hate wearing bathing suits...one time this guy asked me what they were, and I was just like ummm.... :/

I have a lot of stretch marks - but I suddenly realised yesterday that they have faded a lot. I have been using an intensive moisturiser every day when I get out of the shower for about a year because my skin is dry.

It is not an expensive moisturiser either - very basic petroleum jelly ... it seems to work better than any of the fancy stuff!

You're definately not alone! I've never been overweight or gained weight quickly or anything, but I have them too, on my bum :(

I like the rest of me though so it doesn't bother me too much. There's not much you can do about it except give it time and use oil or oily lotions (although I don't know how much this actually works)... unless you wanna go down the surgery route but again not sure how effective this is. I knew a guy who had laser treatment on his face for scarring and the results were much worse than what he started out with! That cost him thousands and now his face is permenantly red. He wishes he'd never done it. I know this doesn't always happen but it is a risk. I'd just learn to accept it. Most of the girls I know have them on some part of their body...

What kind are you using?  I am thinking about giving it a try.  I have them...from my first pregnancy and they are more pronounced this time.

I first experienced my first stretch marks at the age of 12. I have them all over, boobs, inner arms, inner thighs, hips, like one or two behind the knee, above the butt...you get the point. Since I've had them for so long though they've faded a bit. Which they will in time. It's a thing of life...AND cellulite..that's a whole new story. :/

The only stretch marks that I have that REALLY bug me are on my stomach :( I used lotion during my pregnancy and it didn't do anything for me!!

With that being said, my ex has stretchmarks and he isn't fat at all! He is probably 6'2 and 160lbs.....he got his from growing from about 5' to nearly 6' over the period of 6 months or so. His stretch marks are horizontal, though....just above his knees. Its funny ;)

Anyway, I guess I am saying that strechmarks are pretty common.....just like any other scars, you get used to them.

oh gosh, i have them. i have them on my stomach for sure, and thats really the only place. besides small ones on my hips/thighs that have faded because they've been there literally forever (since i was 14)

plus i have a huge scar from appendicitis so i've just pretty much accepted the fact that my tummy is not the most beautiful. But hey, I could be dead. right? (i blame my stretchmarks on the surgery if people ask HAHA)

i have had them since i was 11 or so,  guys should really be informed more on this issue i made up some really stupid lies, mostly involving bike accidents when i was a teenager just to avoid talking about them, there mostly on my inner knees, so it seemed like a good story, but  now they are many more places its gross,   wish i could get rid of em.

Lol, that made me chuckle. :)  I have them.  Stomach, thighs, butt, upper arms, boobies.... I figure for me , having them means I've been successful at losing a bit of weight.  They are more prominent now than they were before I lost the little I have.  Does that make sense?

I have tons of them on my innerand outer thighs!  They have been there since puberty  They are not so noticeable anymore, but I always make sure my swimsuit bottoms have ties of something that hang down the sides of my thighs.  I guess it could be a lot worse for me, but I haven't had kids yet so I am not safe yet!

I have really dark ones on my stomach!  I had my baby 18 months ago and I don't think they've faded a bit yet.  She was 9 lbs and 23 inchs long and grew mostly in the last 3 months.  I call them my battle scars.  My proof that I love my kido!  I have them on my boobs too, b/c I went to sleep one night with a flat chest and woke up the next morning with B cups...a year later went to sleep a B and woke up a D!  And of course, my baby slept through the night from day 2 on, so when my milk came in over night on day 3, I got engored and couldn't get the milk out for DAYS!  That didn't help.  And don't be jealous that she slept through the night...she doesn't now!  LOL.

I gained 65 lbs when I had my son, and lost it in 6 months.  Needless to say I am yet another person who has them EVERYWHERE.

Ugh i have them on my inner thighs, legs(like where the knee cap is, but the other side), and especially on the sides of my stomach/hips.

good news is, that they've been fading a lot. I apply Cocoa Butter after my showers, and the ones on my legs are almost gone, my thighs went from deeep red purple lines to somewhat white/reddish lines, and my hip marks still remain.

Just keep applying that Cocoa butter and they will fade!
