Stretch Marks
EWWW... worst part of being fat.
Anyway, I have been putting lotion on all mine, which made them fade, and now since I lost some weight... one of them collapsed into itself!
Isnt' that awesome?!

Some of mine have started to do that...it's funny, but I was happy about the weight loss, but also like 'aw crud, NOW what do I do about these things?' lol
Awesome job.
Awesome job.
Cocoa Butter it excellent for stretch marks. But make sure you get PURE Cocoa Butter. The lotions just don't do the trick.
wait, you can get streach marks from being overweight!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Oh i never new that!!!
You get stretch marks from gaining weight quickly, which happens to a lot of people when they get overweight.
Snap! I thought streach marks were only from pregnency! Wow, Im dumber then I thought!
Anyway... I herd on a skin website, that the brand Aveeno has products that get rid of streach marks. Also, body butter can make anyones skin unblievably soft, smooth and silky! I literaly LIVE off the stuff!

UGH!! I have strech marks from having a baby... Didn't get them til like the 9th month tho... I really thought I was going to be strech mark free, boy was I wrong!!!!
That's okay natashenka... at least you actually had a baby to account for them, my stomach looks like I had a baby but didn't... yeeaah that's a fun one lol
I was told they fade eventually... but mine arnt going anywhere...
Oh yeah they do, I've had stretch marks since around 12 or 13ish (starting on my chest) and most are pretty faded that you don't really notice them. But it takes at least a year for them to fade noticably- at least for me... but talk about a pain lol
I've got some too, on my lower stomach, from sudden weight gain some time last year.
I would do ANYTHING to get rid of them.
I would do ANYTHING to get rid of them.
Surprisingly, I think I think you can get stretch mark when you are loosing weight too fast?am I wrong?
catlonc- i think (and hope) you're wrong lol... because aren't stretch marks from the skin stretching faster than expected... but your skin doesn't really stretch when it's losing weight right? I could be wrong but I think that's how it work... hopefully haha
yeah.. I think stretch mark are not only due to skin distortion as it expend but I am not positive about it... But I am pretty sure taht if you weight do yoyos a lot your skin can not adjust fast enough...
I know this thread is from a few years ago, but I just wanted to put in my two cents... from experience...
Yes, you can indeed get stretch marks from losing weight. I learned that the hard way. It is a great source of insecurity and shame for me, so believe me, it can happen. I wish someone had told me that when I began my weight loss journey...
