Okay so I bought this cocoa/shea butter formula today to get rid of my stretch marks (it was a kind of lotion meant for pregnant women...imagine my embarrassment at the checkout). How many times a day should I apply it? When should I expect results?
It might make them fade slightly over time but it wont remove them.
Okay, but that's still not answering my question.
First of all, it's NOT just for pregnant women. It's used for scars, burns, and facial moisturizing, too. And, from what I read, it's not really effective in removing stretch marks. Evidently, again from what I read, there's really nothing that gets rid of stretch marks, except perhaps surgery, or possibly Retin-A might fade them a bit. Maybe someone else here will suggest something else.
I still have some stretch marks, but they're all faded to white because I used lotions with cocoa butter and vitamin E. Also, using lotions high in vitamin E helped to completely remove a scar on my lower abdomen from a burn I got from a heating pad.
I used to apply it twice a day, once in the morning before I got dressed and once at night before I went to sleep.
I hope you get the results you're looking for. :)
