Weight Loss
Moderators: duke3522, devilish_patsy, topanga1485, nycgirl, spoiled_candy, cmillington, coach_k I gained a lot of weight REALLY fast, and now I'm plagued by these awful stretch marks along my hips and stomach. I've tried to do a little research on my own on how to get those darn things to go away or at least fade, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with any treatments or even have HEARD of anything that works? I'm willing to try anything!
Thanks in advance!

WELL I've heard of tons of stuff, I've tried a lot of it, nothing worked for me EXCEPT
Just toning up. I've always had horrible stretchmarks on my thighs and hips and arms, but now I can hardly see them cause I've really toned up a lot. As far as I know there aren't really quick fixes though =\
I would suggest staying away from the lotions with the collagen in them (at least the cheap ones) because it will work temporarily, but since the collagen is lab made your skin can't soak it up like human collagen, so it weighs down your skin and makes it sag and look worse than before...
Actually, the really expensive stuff is supposed to work fine so if you can afford it...

Apparently bio oil is meant to be helpful at reducing the overall appearance of stretchmarks.
Hope this helps!
From what I have heard the only thing that will truely take away stretch marks is surgery....lasers might lighten them but for ones on tummy ...tummy tuck...for ones on thighs lower body lift......
