Stroke Time. What is your one great attribute that others could envy? C'mon we ALL have them.

This post is about gratitude, appreciating the one or two or three things about YOU physical or otherwise that you like.  This could be something you were born with or you built yourself.  This is not about bragging, it's about being positive and recognizing that we all have great qualities and things to offer others.  Maybe people have always liked your smile, or your tan, or your sense of dress, or your cooking.  What is your one enviable quality?

I'll start.  I was born smart.  Not sure why but never had to study, always got good grades with little effort.  Also, I have great legs.  Seriously, I've been told this multiple times!

What's your potentially enviable quality?

Seriously now, people have to have qualities that they love.

lol, well i doubt alot of people envy this, but oh well. i love my eyelashes. :)

Well, kazrinya, I definitely would love full eyelashes - my eyelashes are short and not that full.

One thing - I had to think about this for like 5 min - I like is long fingers. I wouldn't exactly say slender, but they are pretty damn long that I have to wear men's gloves for golfing.

This is such a great thread. And I too envy nice eyelashes, mine are short and straight; can't even see 'em. And lemonjello: long fingers are beautiful!

I like the tone of my skin. I get that compliment (or used to when I was a little younger). And my feet are pretty nice too.

This is a fun thread. . .  foxylady_st:  I'm always jealous of even skin tones. . .   My skin is kind of freckly and prone to break outs.  I've gotten to appreciate freckles, but not so much break outs. 

I love my lips!  I think they are shaped nicely.  I like my fingernails too.  I don't have to do anything with them but they grow well and are pretty strong. 

I always think that some things we all have are gifts.  sometimes I feel as though we spend so much time focusing on what we Don't like we forget that others may not see us in the way we see ourselves. 

I have freckles, I don't mind them, but I can tell you my girlfriend would kill for clear skin. 

Well I think that everyone of us has an amazing quality. I get lots of compliments on my smile all the time, but then I love to laugh and smile :) but I would love to have great eye lashes. my pic is posted if you want to check out the smile.. lol

My voice :) Everyone always says "You sing?! I wish I could sing!" and I can't imagine my life without it. I'm so glad I'm not one of those people who can't carry a tune (LOL not that there's anything wrong with that, and you should sing anyway!)

my teeth. they are very straight naturally and stay much whiter naturally than most people's I know (I also don't drink coffee or soda), so I smile a lot  :) ...takes their eyes off of the pounds i still need to lose...  :)

Socially - After dating hundreds of guys... yes really... I found the world's best husband. We have been together since 1991 and I have never regretted it. I wish everyone could find their perfect match also. 

Personally - I am smart and artistic. A definite "character".

Physically- I have beautiful expressive eyes which shift from blue to green with golden flecks.

Financially - we have a comma in our savings account. Not a big one but it is there.  We have no credit card debt.

I'm one of those people who can't sing to save their life.  I am definatelynot artistic either.  In fact people get mad at me when I play pictionary. 

But that's okay, it doesn't stop me from admiring artistic abilities or from listening to a good tune. 

I love singing!! Not that I have a great voice and sing well, but I just love singing no matter how bad I am!! If there's a song on the radio, I just have to sing along even if I don't like it. Sing people! It burns calories, relieves stress... and most importantly, is fun!!

I have short, blonde eyelashes- can't see them w/o mascara.  I have stumpy fingers and "old lady" hands ( but I am not old) and short finger nails.  My lips are not full.  I have fair skin, with a smattering of freckles.  I can also sing, and was told recently that I have great timing and a good ear.  I didn't have to study much either and still managed to do well in school and get a Bachelors Degree.  Can't draw anything other than stick figures.  Wishing upon a star that I didn't have any debt.  I have also been told that I have great legs.  I like my hair ( it's long and blonde) and my eyes are a hazelly green color and one has a line through it where one side is greener and the other is bluer (it's quirky and different and not totally noticable unless you are looking me in the eye).  I have a wonderful husband, whom all my friends and family love and adore ( including me).  I have a heart for people and love hearing others' stories.    I am a loyal friend, sometimes to a fault.  But I like know that I am someone that others can depend on.  I have flaws, but generally I am learning to embrace them and myself for who I am.  Not to say that I am not up for some self improvement.

my eyes, hands down.  I have dark skin and dark hair, with light brown hazel eyes and long eyelashes...I know they are the highlight of my face.  Otherwise I'm pretty smart get through school easily and have a knack for communicating, sometimes...

Long eyelashes! I have to cheat to get long eyelashes! Break out the curler..the extending mascara...they aren't even thick! Just short.

And I wish I could sing! I would do it all the time.  I mean, I still do--but people might not tell me to stop if I could carry a tune. :P


I love my collarbones and shoulders.  One of my friends is a fantastic swimmer and one day I was wearing a tanktop and she was like, in awe! And my collarbones are bony even though the rest of me is soft.  ...well I like them bony!  They are bones!

attribute...........I can think of nothing but losing weight, eating and exercising.  Where was I, oh yes.............hmmmm.

eye color, but many other part Irish have the same, green/blue, dark aqua eyes.  But I don't like ppl looking at them or commenting, because thats all everyone has said since I was little.  I tried to cut my eyelashes when I was little, cause they were too long and looked like spider legs to me.

OMG Ohio45! That sounds crazy. But I thought that too when I was a teenager.  When people would tell my I had great skin, I would always think (yeah, ofcourse you'd say skin 'cause there's nothing else to say). I always wanted to be sexy.

Now, I miss all those comments! Get 'em while the gettin's good.

lol, wow, i wish i could sing :) i do it anyways, but  it'd be nice if it accually sounded nice!

i thought of something else i like......i like how i am always able to put together nice outfits. i also like the way i do make-up. my frends are always asking me to do theirs :)  i also like how i am healthy. i dont need glasses. i dont have a sickness. i have two legs and two arms and have the privledge of being able to use both.

i like this thread! its a good change to go from picking out bad qualities to realizing the good things you were blessed with.
