i have cut the sugar out as much as possible, i do cardio 6 days a week; 3 cardio only days and 3 cardio and lifting days. on the lifting days i do a mean ab workout and the top two abs are getting nice....but that dang bottom fat is killing me. i can feel the abs under it but i can not get the fat off!!!!! any ideas?
What's your weight routine look like? frequency? exercises? sets/reps?
What kind of cardio are you doing?
You can do the meanest ab workout ever and it won't to much to lose fat on your stomach.
and what's the diet like amber? kcals, prot/carb/fat percents, how many meals a day you take in & what kinds of protein/carbs are you eating?
we can help a bit with more info!
cheers!
*wink, wink* sully!
I eat lots of small meals. Everything from salads, oatmeal, pasta, nuts, cheese, fruit, eggs...a well balanced 1800 or less calorie diet. I do cardio for 1.5 hours three days a week and then 30-40 cardio the other three with weight lifting and 15 min ab workout. Protein is coming from eggs, chicken and nuts carbs are coming from fruit and pasta. All low fat. Cardio is running, or eliptical or jump rope. Lifts are at 80% till I can not do them anymore with 3 sets. I do legs one day, arms one day and back/shoulders/chest another. And yoga at least once a week.
I can't say for sure because everyone is different but I think you are doing too much cardio. I would cut it down to three 20-30 minute HIIT sessions per week. Keep lifting heavy 3x a week and consider doing supersets/giant sets if you are not already and then rest in between. Make sure your diet is clean and double check your cals to make sure you are eating the right amounts. FYI, this what is working for me and I am one who carries fat in the belly.
Iamme probably has something to add and I would listen to her cuz she's really smart :)
