anyone have any work outs that are good for getting rid of love handles? I have a gym in my house with like treadmill, elliptical, bike and then machine for everything but that one spot i swear... so I need some actual work outs that I can do. I do have a full set of weights as well :)
You can't spot reduce. I think love handles are partially genetic or something. Probably best you can do is bulk up muscle wise so they don't look as bad. *shrug

Fork put-downs and table push-aways are great exercises for getting rid of them. Squats, deadlifts, pullups and presses are less effective, but still good.

Yeah..... but those fork put-downs and table push-aways are really really hard to do! (especially this last week with all those darn cookies staring at me all day at work).

I've never heard of those exercises, where can you find instructions on how to do them?
Love handles are just stored fat, you have to create a calorie deficit through diet and exercise to get rid of them. I personally burn 200 calories using the elliptical, and then restrict my food intake by 300 calories to create a 500 calorie deficit from my maintenance level.
You can also restrict your carbs to about 35% of your daily calories, and discard the processed and refined ones such as white bread, candy, white pasta, and anything with added sugar in it. Some people have a sensitivity to carbohydrates, and it definitely deter you in losing that last bit of stubborn body fat.
My body tends to store fat on my stomach area creating that beer belly effect. These stubborn fat spots are the first to come, and the last to go.

Fork put-downs are quite an easy exercise when you have Subway and Mcdonalds living next door.
What is fork? I'm a slob, take me to dinner sometime. Let's go on a date, I promise not to disappoint you and fart at the table.
BTW, off topic question, Why do muscle guys at the gym fart so much?

Happens to people who are idiots about nutrition and rely too much on the cheapest protein supplements of dubious quality and not enough on eating real food for the majority of their protein calories.
