Well, without knowing what you are taking in and putting out, it is hard to say.

I do know that exercise works.  I walk 3 miles at a brisk pace, 4-5 days a week and on weeks I don't walk, my weight loss slows or even stops.  Same for fruits and veggies.  When I get my daily 5+ servings, everything goes along fine, (in more ways than one) if not, stall city.

Also, we need to keep in mind that as our weight decreases, our caloric needs do as well.  So we have to cut back calories in order to maintain that deficit, and the weight loss.

Hope this helps.  If you post your calories in and exercise, I bet some others will have some input!

i try and keep my calorie intake  around 1300 , i exercise  3  days a week ..i don't drink milk but i do get my full daily servings of veggies and fruits. i eat red meat about once a week sometimes not even that the rest of the times its chicken, turkey or fish. I love bread but try and keep it at 2 or 3 slices a day  and thats always whole wheat.
what exercise you doing?
Try to do somthing physical everyday, for example, on the days you don't work out, go for a half hour walk.

my exercise include  walking , stationary bike , elliptical, or with  an exercise ball  usually 30 -40 minutes   3 days a week .. i'm 47 and 5'3     so am i eating to many calories?  or not enough? or could this be just a stall?

What is your burn once you add in your activity?  Instead of rigidly sticking to 1300 calories, try looking at your burn and eating 500 cals less than that.  It may not be the same every day -- and on days you don't exercise obviously you might want to eat less.

the body adjusts to things very quickly, if you stick to the exact same routine then your body will find a way to adjust to that and expend fewer calories doing it.

I have exactly the same current weight, the exact same goal and am also stuck.

I do have some idea that my body resists going below this particular weight. What I've done is cut back my calories a little more and am increasing my workout in order to get over the hump. That, and being patient. It'll come off, it's just a little more resistant as we get closer to our goal.
