I have lost my motivation. Ahhhh! I was doing so great. Working out often with Slim in 6, I even did a few HIIT sessions and some jogs and walks and now I have not exercised in WEEKS. WEEKS people! Ugh. I am so disappointed. One day off turned into one week off and now I am here. Stuck just near my goal and needing an extra boost! The last few pounds are stubborn huh? I am so close I can taste it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to break through the wall? I don't actually even need to lose a certain number of pounds, I need to tone up pronto!

I am about 10 lbs from my goal weight, and am losing momentum...that is kinda why I joined this forum...
I need to get in shape within the next month and a half so I can look good in *summer* clothes...
Being accountable to someone is the best motivator for me.
I also try to watch movies and shows with models and actresses that are fit because that motivates me to try to look as good...
You should do some mental exercises to concentrate on the final steps of your goal.
I usually run when I workout and with each beat or rythym I think "I am a winner...I will succeed..." It sounds really cheesy, but this mentality enhances your mental strength so that you can break through your rut....

I am right there with both of you! I also am 5-10 pounds from my goal and TOTALY lost my ambition and drive. I was doing so well. I was only going to take a week off and then start again. That hasnt happened yet. I try for a day or so and then I blow it and think tomorrow I will start again. I am hoping that with the nice spring weather I will be outside and get more activity.
The three of us should check in with each other and maybe together we will get it done.

go to the mall and buy a cute new bathing suit thats slightly too small, use it as your inspiration and as you loose your weight it will start to fit better, and near your goal date you will look really good in it and it will make you keep going, when i need to loose weight i usually go and buy a cute pair of pants that are one size too small, and then it feels so good once i can fit into them!
Maybe we should keep popping in here! We can keep each other motivated to get through this last stretch!

DUDE. 15 more pounds. I'm totally with you people. they won't go away! It probably doesn't help that i've stopped excercising...maybe i should get on that...
hey! Im 5 pounds...and flabby! Geesh. I don t know whats worse the last 5 pounds or the first 50! So frustating! You work so hard and then ur almost there, just about got it when you hit a wall.....UGH!

Im trying to focus on really cleaning up my eating, and being more rigorous and consistant with excercising...I rly want to wear a rly cute bathing suit this summer!! =P

Okay! So let's motivate each other to get to our goals. We are so close! I do actually have a new bikini (picture in my profile) so that is motivation to tone up for sure.
Yesterday I went for a hike! It was about 4 miles, not much, but hey it's something right!
I actually weigh myself everyday. It helps to keep me in check. I am going to post my weight every day and my goals. The next day I will post weight again, post what goals I completed and new goals for the new day. Join me if you want. I am reaching my goal by the end of April. Bottom line!

Goal Weight: 100-103 (based on how it looks/feels)
Lbs to lose: 10.5-7.5 lbs
Lose by May 30, 2007 (in time for summer)
Calories : <1200; >1500
Exercise: run/walk at least total 45 minutes-1 hr (5-7 days per wk)
Drink lots of water
Do toning exercises for upper body and lower body, focusing on abdominals...(holding some weight mostly in thighs and abdomen area)...
So far today I have an A- in eating...I think that the coffee made it a minus!! =P...

i'm 10 pounds away from my goal...i get motivated by taking out an old picture of myself because i was skinny back then..and then i get motivated to become that way again

I'm 10 pounds away too! I got to 8.5, then I had an accident and couldn't exercise for a while. Then I just plain got lazy! It would be great to have some more people to keep me motivated for those last 5-10 pounds!

Ditto I'm 10 lbs away. It seems every time I get close to losing a lb or two I mess things up but I'm ready to get back on the wagon!! I made a calendar of my exercise routines so I can highlight the date as I go on to help make sure I follow through.
My brother's wedding is alittle over a month away so hopefully I will be close to my goal by then, plus summer is almost here and everyone wants to look good since summer=less clothing.

10 pounds left.. Hardly leaving me :(
My weight hasn't changed in a long while and im trying hard.. I do so well on weekdays, excercising ALOOOT, although i cheat once in a while..
I've been really naughty since Saturday,, eating ALOT! however, i managed to add some excercise to make me feel less guilty.
The weight is still the same, no gain, no loss :(
I know i will do it, ALL OF US will do it, we will get there.. We just need to focus and be optimistic, realistic, and patient.

ugh me too... :( i got down to 143.5, my goal is 135 (unless i feel i am not happy with that), and i have now fluctuated between the 143.5 and 148.5 in the last 3 weeks.. :( its sooooooo frustrating.. i keep eating all the wrong stuff, and i have worked waaaaaaay toooo hard to get here (from 208 lbs)... ugh...
I'm bumping this because it's such a great post.
WHY PEOPLE? WHY? WHY WON'T IT COME OFF? I've been eating good for two weeks and i'm PLATEAUING. I've never had a plateau this bad. I have around a 250-400 cal deficit depending on the day. I've tried to mix it up. I have a good amount of fat, protien, atc. It just WON'T GOOOOO. ugh.

shiguresflower, im in the same boat. I've needed to lose these last 10lbs for a couple months. I do cardio 5x a week and over an hour weight training 3x a week along with going to school it's pretty exhausting. I stepped on teh scale today (decided to try weekly weighing) and its 2lbs higher than last week! I'm hoping it's just water weight, well it would have to be since I have been getting 12-1300 cals intake after exercise.
I can't decide if I need to eat more or not because if I eat more, my calorie deficit goes very low since I burn 1600 at sedentary. If I eat the same though, 1200 every day might be making me hold onto weight...

i am on my last 10 -14 lbs. i am 4'10 ish 117 lbs.
i reached my goal last summer 106 then got sick had a grandbaby
and can't lose any of it . i will lose 3 or 4 then gain it again . i have played with my calories i walk outside around the school grounds ( gravel & asphalt)for 1 hour to 90 min.
So know i am defeating myself getting aggrivated and eating higher cal. foods.
i reached my goal last summer 106 then got sick had a grandbaby
