You probably want to up your calories for a little bit. It's not a guaranteed plateau breaker, but I know alot of people who've broken plateaus that way.

Also, congrats on the 50 lbs.

And Welcome!
How much are you eating a day?

EDIT: PS If you can you might you might want to save Erik the trouble and edit the all cap title to proper case.

i have lost 47 pounds (284 to 237).  i have been stuck here for a few weeks.  i decided i am happy and my body needs to absorb the weight lost before it wants to lose anymore.  as you get fit, your body burns fewer calories doing anything, so stay healthy and enjoy.
Hi there! The first of June I hit my 50 pound mark and I plateaued for the whole month and then finally dropped 8 pounds like in a matter of a week. Then I plateaued again for most of July and then dropped almost 9 pounds the first week of Aug. The first plateau I just kept on doing what I was doing, sticking to my cals, drinking water, & exercising. The second one I played with my cals a little. I uped them like 2 days out of the week by like 200 cals then lowered them.  Lately I have had to drop my cals by like 400 to get any weight loss. After so much weight loss your body does have to do some reorginazing sorta and that can cause you to plateau.

I've heard other people say to change up your exercise routine. Maybe add a little light weight training. Maybe jog/walk an extra half hour.

Don't get discouraged. Just keep it up and if you don't lose weight what about your measurements. Those can go down without losing weight exactly. Just know that you are healthier for what you have done and 50 is a Great accomplishment. It will come off in time. Trust me it's wat i continue to tell myself. 70 down 30-50 more to go.  Good Luck!!
My advice would be to shake up your exercise routine a bit...maybe your body is getting too used to that daily jog.
I also plateaud at 49 pounds lost (of course!), but finally broke it and am down to 51 lost.  I jiggled my %s--added more fat and protein and fewer carbs for a couple of days and did some different exercise like Laurdie said.  It may have helped, or it might just have been time to go down.  At first, I lost a little every 2-3 days, even if it was only a 1/2 pound.  Now, I'm more like Kellie--5-9 day plateaus, then 2 pounds in 2 or 3 days.  Then, the whole thing all over again so I'm losing about 6-9 pounds a month.

Hang in there, and congrats on getting as far as you have!  :D
I have lost 57 pounds since the middle of January, and several times I experienced plateaues.  I ate a little more of the healthy foods and like the others, I would drop up to 4 pounds after a three week plateau.  Also consider that you may be gaining muscles and it weighs more than fat.  Hang in there....it will come off eventually.
