This type of thread helped me famously as I was on my weight loss journey in 2007. Now I am back looking for more, support, friends and few pounds to lose ... I am still thin but feeling down in the dumps with poor eating and a lack of motivation.
Who wants to join me to lose the last 3-5lbs and stay healthy! Post goals, rants, diaries of your day if you like, we can lose those last few together!

I've been fighting this last four pounds since...forever, it seems! Had a number of backslides, but can't get past the big 122!

okay... so 6 lbs.. lol.. but I'm aiming for 130-133 and I feel like I'm going to get to 135 any day now! My sister and I are working together to reach our goals by NYE so I'm aiming for that.. Would love some more support and a place to chat too!
Me too! I am 5'3.5" and I currently weigh 106 lbs. I want to get down to 104 lbs by Christmas...nice and slow! Then I'll be done with weight loss because that's my final goal weight. It might seem low but I have a small frame, no T or A ![]()
OH yes, I'd love to join, I'm not quite ready for maintenance yet, I was soo close then went on vacationr ecently and put on about 4lbs, have lost most of those now and am stuck,

I am so psyched to have a good group to motivate with. We can accomplish lots here.
I started out the day pretty bad. I had a weigh in of 104 lbs (my ultimate goal is 100 lbs) which is ok actually. Then I had a Fiber One bar, a bagel and a oatmeal raisin large cookie. And I still have a bag of cookies next to me ... It's been that kind of day I guess.
warbler02, I too have a tiny frame and look better at a lower BMI (I have a BMI of 19.6 right now) but just make sure not to go below 18.5, ok?! It really is the absolute lower limit.
So tell me everyone, what are your goals for the rest of the week???

definitely get some more exercise.. I didn't have time Sunday and feel like a slacker so I'm going to do two workouts Friday b/c I have the day off.. Also, I need to stop raiding my boss's candy jar!! There are malted milk balls and I LOVE those... ugh... Weight goal this week is 135. anything.. lol.. been stuck at 136.. only for 2 weeks but I ate terribly over the weekend and really want to avoid doing that again this weekend... we need a weekend challenge or something :)
Hi ladies (all ladies so far I think!), well just sitting contemplating the day now, pretty good, sort of, got offered a chocolate at work and first said no thanks and then the "oh you must, they're artisan, beautiful"which it was, of course! :) No exercise though, had college right after work so had a small dinner on the run, thai veg soup, mixed in some prawns and green beans, got home not long ago (22.30) and picked at oat cluster cereal (my weakness, I wouldnt buy it and I dont, its my sisters and man I eat more of it than her, cant resist, ive begged her not to get it anymore :( ) I've ust had my planned nightly snack cup of tea and an alpen light cereal bar (60cal) Anyway stayed pretty much within a 100 cals of daily goal so not too bad.
I too have low BMI but I dont look it, you can probably tell from photo! I have Friday weigh in with another group, so will post my weekly weight then here too if that suits everyone?
My goal for the next two days is to eat healthy snacks instead of the awful crap I eat, and not to overdose on carbs late at night for no reason (not hungry, just munching!).

Oh yes the mindless munching at night kills me everytime! Also as the weather has gotten colder I find myself drinking less and less water, time to change that, water really helped me lose so I'm making a big effort from now on to get back into it! Thanks Nyc girl!!

My goal is to go to the gym tomorrow, Friday, and, if my parents don't come up for the day, Saturday. I need to get my butt back there! Luckily my job keeps me pretty active (three-four days a week I work as a server), but I need to get back into the swing of going the gym the other days!
I'm proud of myself because I've been resisting the big bag of leftover Halloween candy on our kitchen table--not a single piece all week! Instead I've been treating myself once a day to two slices of whole wheat light bread (40 cals per slice) and a tablespoon and a half of Nutella (160 cals for two tablespoons, so 120 cals). Much more satisfying and probably better for me, since the Nutella has protein from the nuts, and the whole wheat bread has fiber in it.
I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE to eat. So my other goal is to make out plans with lots of low-cal snacks.
I've been really sick this week so my appetite is low. I might lose a pound this week, but I intend to put it back on over Thanksgiving (which is also my birthday!)

nycgirl- I've been munching at night too :( Last night I had some honey roasted peanuts before bed.. boo. It may have a small something to do with the fact that I haven't been eating my oatmeal in the morning b/c I've been too lazy to make it.. so I've been eating cereal.. I had oatmeal this morning so hopefully it will keep me closer to full all day :)
ashley- wtg on resisting the chocolate! I'm with you on needing more exercise.. I'm sure that's why my weight is going nowhere fast.. I've only done 1 workout this week and it was with weights.. and I increased my weights so I'm probably retaining water in the good ol' muscles here.. your evening snack sounds delicious :) I really like to eat too!

I am 5'6" and CW is 130. Not bad, just want to get down a few more pounds for the holidays. My goal weight is 127, and I have been stuck for months at 130!
What are some of your stat's that Calorie Counter is saying you need to stick with? Mine say's that I burn 1620 a day without exercise and I should eat 1400 a day. I add my 300 to 400 burn, but then I usually eat around 15/1600 a day because I am so hungry! UGH! That's why I have been stuck at 130. Any suggestions beyond the obvious, stop eating as much and burn more?? : )

My goal it's 115 I'm in 118-121 and the number just don't down.I think that I never going to reach my goal or my body just don't want to drop more pounds but I'm still in the line so let's do it!

Today I went to the doctor (I have the flu) and I weighed in at 107.6 lbs. This is exactly what I weighed at my last doctor's visit, over a month ago!!! I'm so angry and depressed. I've been very very strict with my diet and haven't gone over my daily goal even once. I don't understand why I haven't lost any weight. I feel horrible. I thought I was down to 106 lbs now and instead it turns out I have made 0 progress.
