STUPID doctors- way to make me fast!!

Quote  |  Reply

And I wish that meant fast in a track, running sence.

I had to get stomach tests and not eat for 2 days!! Well the day b4, I had breakfast but it was "light" as directed, then I ate lemon jello but that started to make me sick. Once I drank the stuff they gave me, I could not drink juice or eat jello- I was SO sick. Anasesia the next day wore off mid afternoon and I was nautious the rest of the day. as in extremely. I really didn't get any food for like 2 days!

ANYWAY- I started my normal eating and I weighed myself like the day after (ish?) of this ordeal, and I hadn't lost any weight.

3 or 4 days later- I lost 3 or 4 pounds!? same time of day, etc. etc.

I've never had a hyper metabolism, but what did this do to me!?

Stop weighing yourself more than once a week.

The fast is necessary so there is nothing to interfere in your tests. It wouldn't have mattered what your diet was; anyone having these sorts of tests has to fast.

It probably dehydrated you if you were vomitting. Get back to a gaining intake in day-to-day bounds. And again, stop weighing yourself so much.

water weight and dehydration.  a few days and it will be back.

Okay thanks! I was worried my metabolism was becomeing hyper? haha does that make sence? I was luckey that when I started ganed it didn't kick up to the leval a lot of people's do...

I usually don't weigh myself... at all (only when I have to!) but I was really worried about what fasting would do to my efforts.

Thanks!
