Hello, i weigh myself first thing in the morning and than after dinner ( so no shock in the morning) and my weight is up by two or three pounds. is this normal?? i am trying to eat 1800-2000 caiories a day as i burn at least 800 exercising and chasing my two year old around. boy is he fast.

You are normal....sometimes I cant believe it when I step on the scale at night and up like 3.5 lbs.... and then in the am am back down....go figure....
You don't completely lose all the food and water you consume throughout the day so the weight from that will stay in your body until the next morning.

stick to the mornings, I think if you keep doing the evenings it may be a little discouraging.

the scale isint allways the best thing to mesure your self try mesuring you waist arms thigs etc. with a mesuring tape its more effective because when you work out you might loose inches but gain muscle so that may make you go up in the scale another way to figure out if you are losing inches is cheking you clothes of they are looser or tighter.
