A stupid question, but a response is needed quickly! :(

Ok, I know this sounds stupid, but here goes...

Alright, so I made some pizza for dinner, and poured myself a glass of milk to go with it (about 1 measured cup). While I was eating, I quickly drank about 2/3 of the glass, and continued to eat my pizza slice. Then, when I had the last sip, I noticed that there were some small curdeled milk pieces in my glass, so I spit it back out. Now I'm worried if I'll get sick later (I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of throwing up), but my mom, who is a nurse, said that since I ate other things along with the small bit of milk, that it will dilute the milk in my stomach and hopefully not make me sick. After she told me that, I had a frozen banana, since I thought that they are easy to digest and may help. This was at about 5:30 EST.

So, all that nonsense aside, it is quite possible that I will throw up (or at least feel extremely nauseated) later? I mainly want to know since I might be going out tonight, so I'd like to know beforehand. Oh, and like I said before, I'm absolutely terrified of throwing up. Sorry for wasting your time with such a stupid question! :(

I think you'll be fine, you did spit the gross part out!

As long as you don't drink a lot of alcohol tonight you shouldn't throw up.

Sour milk won't generally kill you -- people cook with it all the time.  It is usually unpalatable enough, however, that people notice the taste immediately.

I think the only reason you may get nauseous is because you may, unwittingly, talk yourself into it.  Relax, drink some water, go out and have some fun.

I should clarify, however -- I am not a medical professional, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night

summersskin: Yeah, the first big gulp tasted a tad off, but usually all milk tastes bad to me. :P

coach_k: That is EXACTLY what my mom said! I have a tendency to do that, so I'll have to chill. And haha, nice joke. :P

Haha I agree milk is so gross :P

If it didn't taste really bad I wouldn't worry about it.  Think about it, yogurt and cottage cheese are really forms of curdled milk.  It probably just got to warm.

Your stomach acids will curdle it anyway.  You'll be fine.
