subway cookies= pure evil.
i can't believe they are about 210cals per cookie. and my meal came with TWO. that's 420cals on top of a sandwich! (not to mention that i could eat 10 of those cookies and still have room for more... >"<)
Yeah i totally agree with you i should have known something that tasted that good had over 200 calories in it!! UGH!! I had one one day at subway and came home and saw that they had over 200 calories in them i about died!! I only get the sandwiches from time to time and light potato chips in there now. Occasinally i will have one of their cookies but only if i have been really good that day.
Clarice
But really now, as good as they taste, aren't you somewhat satisfied after a few bites or do you reeeeeeeally have to eat the entire cookie plus a few? Try eating just half. Save the other half for later or give it away. Over time you'll learn to love that half cookie and not require the other half.
And you can't really eat it anyway if it's in someone elses mouth.
I don't think 200 calories for one of those big cookies is a lot. You could fit that into any healthy diet every now and then easily.

Is this a joke? Seriously.
The easy answer? NO! Oh, sorry. I meant, HELL FREAKIN' NO!
Regarding the last sentence, yeah, that may be true, but you have got to have a LOT of trust in your marriage for this to work. As in, trusting the cookie cutter to cut directly down the middle, taking into consideration any irregular borders, AND to not (very lovingly) bonk you over the head with a cast iron skillet (and make off with BOTH HALVES) while you are busy trying to verify that they did, in fact, cut the cookie right down the middle.

Yeah, these are so good. Only buy one, if you must, and if you're due a treat. Share it if you can. Or not. But only buy one. Seriously. Hehe.
And what do you mean "exactly down the middle" ? We're going to have issues if I don't get the bigger half.

Hey, if I can go from eating a half dozen cookies after a game to eating half a cookie every few months, I think it's doable for a majority of the population.

Duly noted. I didn't mean that I couldn't do it, I meant that I didn't want to. And yeah, my point. If your "better half" also shares your viewpoint about "bigger half," well, then you have a problem. ![]()
heh yea, cause they have meal plans that come with the subs where i'm from, and there are only two choices.... the smaller meal (adds 2 cookies (or a bag of chips) and a drink), or the larger meal (adds 3 cookies and an upsized drink). i was thirsty, and the cookies seemed like a good side to have. the big surprise (for me at least), was finding out online, that my 'side' had more calories than my 'main'. ah well. at least now i know. (:
Macadamia nut is basically my favorite cookie, and when I tried it at subway, I didn't like it that much. I don't see how these cookies can be so good haha

I could run down to subway right now and eat 10 just reading about them LOL Usually, I just have the 6 in. club subway on wheat and nothing else but water.
Yeah, seriously. I used to get them when they were 3 for $1. I really hated to see it when they started making it an option on your meal. Thankfully, I like my Sun Chips with my sandwich too much to trade them in for cookies. Thankfully. Plus, I know that 1 cookie isn't enough most days and will just leave me raiding the kitchen for junk or MacGyvering some up if there is none, so I tell myself that 1 cookie won't be enough, and more than that is too much, and just stick with my chips, or even just the sandwich. And, now that they are putting the cookie bin RIGHT THERE where you have to look at it eye-to-eye (and usually smell it) while waiting for your sandwich. Well, that is another topic about "Subway sales & marketing execs = pure evil." ![]()
I'm always very honest about my sectioning the rasin oatmeal cookies with my wife, however, I do forget to tell her about the other 3 I stash in my truck for my morning commute!

never had a subway cookie. what you should try is a Millie's cookie, they are delish. and the same amount of cals. I could easily stop after one...they are quite filling; or at least, pretty sweet! sweet enough to make you WANT to stop.
Millies cookies are evil! SO GOOD but evil - in fact its Millies cookies and muffins (especially the muffins) that I blame for me getting fat in the first place! I dont even usually like sweet things but I found myself stopping and buying a big muffin on my way home from school everyday - they must have at least 600 calories.

subway cookies are yummy for about a minute, then disgusting and greasy. i completely agree with CD in this: if you must have one (doubtful), a few bites is penty.
Why not just get the apples from subway? Sure they're not the most fresh, but it's a hell of a lot better than cookies or chips.
i just remembered when i used to go to subway and get three cookies for £1 and just eat them, they were so cheap and tasty. this was before i knew a thing about calories, i just used to consume 600 there and then without knowing it!! for £1!! haaa that's a lot of calories for my money.
