Subway info on this site
Does anyone know if the nutritional information for Subway includes cheese or not?
probably not
No. It states somewhere on their website. It also does not include vinegar and olive oil, and mayo which they put in great ammounts if you specifically tell them not to.
Lucky for me I only get vinegar, pepper and oregano as condiments!
Thanks! I will go sans cheese from now on!
I thought the subway nutritional info. included cheese for all the subs *except* the seven "under XX g fat" subs. That's how it works at the Canadian website. So, turkey, ham, chicken, etc. don't include cheese - but steak, meatball, tuna, etc. do. Which is bizarre to me because why on earth would I put cheese on a tuna sub, but the numbers do seem to match up.
None of the nutritional info. includes mayo, sub sauce or any of the other sauces though.
I just add a 100 calories if I add cheese to my sub, if it's 6 inch sub i just cut that in half because the cheese slices are so thin so I don't think they could be that much, but I'm thinking of Swiss cheese, I think if it's cheddar or the other options it would be a bit more.
1tb of mayo is like 80 -100 calories, so just add it to your sub cal total.
Hey if you want to lose weight with subway stay away from the meatball sub it's deadly to your thighs ladies hahaha. I should know my thighs were deadly, but i haven't eaten a meatball sub since way long ago, even though it would be nice to have one right now because it's just so delicious.
Now I just Turkey with lettace and I get some swiss chess on it and with of course whole wheat bread. The 12 inch turkey with swiss on whole wheat is only about 650, not bad considering i only eat half and eat the other half later.

Depends on how many calories you've got for lunch - it's only 560 including cheese which, while not remotely as low as the subs go, isn't horrible for a meal that really does feel like a "cheat". (I accidentally had one a couple of months ago, and it sure was tasty - and not high cal enough for me to beat myself up over. I bet the poor guy who got my turkey sub wasn't thrilled about the mix-up though. :-))
Personally, I like the bufffalo chicken subs the best - chicken breast with hot sauce is good stuff...
If you do a search in the food browser for "Subway", all the info will come up. Even the different cheeses and sauces are listed.
This is from the Subway site:
Subs with 6 grams of fat or less include wheat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, green peppers and olives. All other sandwich values include cheese unless otherwise noted.
Salads contain standard vegetables and do not include salad-dressing or croutons.
Addition of other condiments and fixings will alter nutrition values.
